44 0 1255 424937 Tridan Engineering Limited established in 1968 is a compact and efficient organisation approved to AS9100 ISO 14001 and an approved supplier to major organisations throughout the UK Europe and USA The company has continuously invested in machine tools including the very latest 5 axis horizontal and sliding head CNC machining centres These are operated by a skilled workforce of over 70 personnel to provide standards of quality and service which we believe can only be matched by a few companies in the field The latest addition to our current plant is a Mazak 5 Axis Machining Centre with a 6 pallet Palletech system giving us a total of six 5 Axis machining centres Tridan s manufacturing capabilities are backed by an equally efficient modern inspection plant and procedures covering the range from small components to large work pieces up to 1 6 metres in size all of which can be produced in small or large batches or delivered from stock to your KanBan requirements The Tridan service includes prototype parts complete assemblies and all ancillary requirements such as heat treatment plating processes and painting Where required we are also able to provide a complete package of fully machined and treated castings in aluminium magnesium and other alloys thus ensuring full project supply management To meet the demands of modern supply chain requirements Tridan has invested heavily in management and technical support software A Windows based fully integrated and networked production management system controls sales order processing and contract control through to materials management Our CAD CAM systems allow customers to transmit drawing files in all formats including CATIA Pro E and STEP These are readily translated into machine codes and sent to our DNC linked machine tools As part of the Langham Industries Group Tridan receives the backing and access to the expertise of other Langham Group companies Tridan s website and this brochure illustrates our capabilities and if required we would be pleased to provide further information and greater detail Michael Lynch TRIDAN CO UK the essential engineering component TRIDAN CO UK INTRODUcTION MLynch Sales Director 2 3

5 Axis machining Horizontal machining Vertical machining Our state of the art CNC machining centres enable us to manufacture a wide range of precision components from large castings to prismatic parts CNC milling capabilities range from those capable of machining components as large as 1660mm x 505mm x 675mm and others sensitive and fast enough to machine the most delicate components with 5 Axis capability up to 850mm diameter x 700mm Most machines are a twin pallet configuration as well as a 6 pallet Palletech system with up to 120 station tooling carousels Rotary 4th axis is also available on both the larger and smaller machines offering total flexibility on both round and prismatic parts With our latest investment of a Mazak 5 axis i500 and 6 pallet Palletech sytem we can maximise the output of the machine shop by running similar parts together with very little downtime of the machine spindle and lights out operations The system brings advanced pre engineered automation to today s machining environment The Mazak Smooth software coupled with the Palletech Manufacturing Cell PMC controller can monitor operations view and change schedules onthe fly and still have the versatility to keep production moving as well being able to interrupt a planned machining queue and produce that urgent requirement for the customer 44 0 1255 424937 cnc milling TRIDAN CO UK the essential engineering component TRIDAN CO UK 6 capabilities 7
