WHAT MAKES THE MONARCH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP UNIQUE Unique to the Monarch National Championship Horse Show is the requirement of qualification of horse rider combinations to show in their respective divisions that offer Monarch National Championships by competing at four horse shows in the Monarch Network Horse shows qualify for the Monarch Network by having less than 400 horses capable of verifying results and willing to offer as many classes from the Monarch suggested class list as possible The Monarch National Championship also offers a full slate of open breed classes that horses do not need to qualify for NETWORK Network mainstream horse shows across the country and offer a Crown Jewel competition for this core market injecting a new level of excitement and inclusiveness for competitors that enjoy competing regionally HIGHLIGHT Support American Saddlebred breeders by highlighting another competitive space in which to market horses SUPPORT Monarch Mission Support regionally managed horse shows by requiring competitors to compete in at least four horse shows within the Monarch Network to qualify for the Monarch Show Series National Championship PROVIDE Provide a next step for Academy competitors as well as levels of advancement within this competitive space Also unique to the MNC is the Single Bit Division Single Bit classes are open to Amateur or Juvenile riders in a snaffle bit with a running or German martingale draw reins are also permissible Any leverage bit rein is prohibited through the martingale A Pelham or Tom Thumb bit without martingale shank not to exceed 5 inches is also allowed All tack should be of show ring quality Riders are to wear appropriate show ring attire Horse rider combinations may not cross enter into another division with the exception of the Model Showmanship Pattern and In Hand Obstacle Classes This division can be utilized by new horse rider combinations that want to get their feet wet without having to show in a full bridle riders wanting to level up from academy or horses that simply do not prefer to wear the full bridle Due to popular request additional Elite Single Bit classes have been added and are open to both Professionals and Amateurs Additional classes will be added to the show schedule as requested by potential exhibitors Not only will the Coliseum of Champions be utilized for the MNC but also the neighboring covered arena will be used for a slate of additional classes such as Open Western Trail In Hand Obstacle Course Reinsmanship Pairs Class and more
