Eaglador is a London based studio that casts bronzeware accessories for the kitchen and table as well as high design décor for the home.
We are known for our cast bronze cookware, but our collections range from brilliantly crafted bronze cutlery to furniture and chess sets.
Combining high aesthetic standards and functionality, Eaglador is distinguished by the high quality of it's handcrafted bronze creations.
We like rough surfaces set against highly polished molten ones, dark versus light. Ancient and modern. Extreme contrasts and visually appealing weighty objects that hold gravitas.
What captures us is that objects born out of the chaos of fire and furnace can be polished into beautiful, desirable objects that eventually find their way into some of the most beautiful homes in the world.
CAST BRONZE COOKWARE
Bronze is as old as civilisation itself and has been used for cookware across the centuries. Despite its rich culinary history it has recently been overlooked in favour of cast iron, stainless steel and copper for premium cookware.
At Eaglador, we use a specific type of bronze called Kansa for our cookware. Kansa bronze is widely used in Indian and Asian markets. Kansa has a higher than average tin content; And it is the tin that makes our cookware non-reactive to foods, naturally non-stick, non-toxic with no surface coating. The copper in the alloy is ultra conductive.
Compared for instance to cast iron, bronze is lighter more conductive and in our opinion a better aesthetic for cookware.
CAST BRONZE 7" SAUCEPAN
This is a heavy gauge cast bronze saucepan. The exterior is wrought and sculptural.
Specifically, it is made of Kansa bronze an ultra superior metal which is 80% copper, 20% tin. The high tin content makes the bronze non reactive to foods.
Kansa bronze is lighter than cast iron and a good metal to use for cookware as tin is naturally non stick and non-toxic whilst the copper is ultra conductive. And unlike other pans that are non stick coated the tin here is part of the alloy so it does not need to be relined and will last forever.
This pan is great for sauteing because of its thermal conductivity. It heats up instantly and also retains heat well due to the 5mm cast wall. Bronze is also antimicrobial, durable and resists corrosion.

Eaglador's cast bronze holder has a wrought Verdigris patina. The polished inner wall enhances the glow of the candle and lights up a room.
Being cast bronze, it is a solid piece with a reassuring weight to it. Its a lovely decorative object to have on a mantel, table or shelf.
It comes with a glass insert to hold a tealight candle and is made to be reused.

Its versatile and could also be used as a planter. Its certainly an eye catcher.
Wild Turkey Claw SculptureThis solid bronze wild turkey claw was cast using the lost wax method. The casting captured all the fabulous scaly detail. The claws and spur have been polished to a mirror finish.
It is life size in scale and a very manageable piece of sculpture to have in the home. It would comfortably fit on a mantelpiece, bookshelf or table. Certainly an interesting piece to have kicking about the home.

This sculptural bronze table was inspired by the work of Escher and his 1953 lithograph 'Relativity', which depicts a world in which the normal laws of gravity do not apply.
Cast in solid bronze using the lost wax method, the interior of the top frame has been highly polished to a mirror finish and is juxtaposed against the rich brown patina of the bronze.
It comes in two parts frame and base.
CAST BRONZE ZIGGURAT COFFEE TABLELike a rough cut diamond, this multifaceted chess set catches the eye from several angles. The pieces are cast in solid bronze and have a very satisfying, substantial weight to them. They are a joy to play with; a lovely set to own.
