Independent Distribution Collective presents our 62nd Solicitation just in time for Winter/Holiday placement (our seventh of this year). We are excited about many of these new releases and are very proud to have a handful of great artists joining IDC. Please note we moved both our physical and warehouse locations in early August 2013. Shae - Can You Feel The Music CD
Tarpan Records, founded by Multi-Platinum and Multi-Grammy winning producer Narada Michael Walden, is proud to announce the debut release from their new artist Shaeny Johnson, aka Shae. Shae recently signed with Tarpan Records and is releasing her debut album Can You Feel The Music worldwide both physically and digitally on Nov. 18th 2014. Walden has produced dozens of million-selling albums including hits for superstars like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Barbra Streisand. The album is a mix of Singer/Songwriter, Pop, and Dance music. As a lead vocalist, Shae has generated a buzz singing with the Rogue Suspects and touring all over the Pacific Northwest the past few years. Shae is also the lead singer in Craig Chaquico’s (Jefferson Starship) touring band, and has had the honor of playing with some other amazing artists including Jack Johnson, Jeff Peevar, and Jeff Cooper.

T-Roy - Deep South Dub CD
DEEP SOUTH DUB is the second release from New Orleans’ independent reggae record label Bayou International Records. 12 original Reggae riddims written, recorded, and dubbed by multi-instrumentalist T-Roy. As with his 2012 debut release, “NOLA ROCK,” the Louisiana native showcases his passion for dub reggae music. Using inspiration from the greats like King Tubby and Lee Scratch Perry to “play the mixing board like an instrument,” he creates his own brand of Dub from New Orleans.

The Tropics - Wind House CD
As with many young people who make the migration to San Francisco, Claire George and Eric Silverman felt fully liberated from the constraints of their previous social lives. When they met and decided to form The Tropics, the two already shared an immediate, unspoken understanding - what they were setting out to create was the antidote to a stilted scene culture: a free, complete expression of who they were. Nowhere is this more apparent than in their new video for Fireproof - a truly captivating and hilarious tongue-in-cheek, shot-for-shot remake of Good Vibrations by Marky Mark, which premiered onStereogum earlier in October.
