2Plant.comBARE ROOT#1 DivisionsThese are huge, undivided clumps. They have very large crowns with multiple eyes and heavy root and sized for transplanting into 1-gallon containers. Pot in 2-gallon or larger containers.BARE ROOTWest Coast Grown AstilbeThe majority of the Astilbe we oer are grown in Oregon where there is an ex- tended season well into November. This longer growing period allows for bigger bare roots whereas other growers could see an earlier dormancy period with a shorter Midwest season. Our domestic Astilbe are not subjected to a hot water treatment which aects flower production.Coreopsis Growing Coreopsis Moonbeam and Zagreb from a plug works, but doesn’t overimpress With the west coast bare root, you fill the container immediately with eyes. You can start them in the spring and finish them within 12 weeks for a full container.Sedum #1 Div.West coast bare root, where the sedums have a long growing season, produces larger crowns and heavy root systems, which results in a full container.LiatrisSize matters! Look at the dierence between 8/10cm and 14/+ cm liatris. You can put few-er bulbs in a container, or put additional smaller bulbs in a pot– whatever works for your production schedule.Dicentra 4 eyeThese are huge, un- divided clumps.
