BISD SUMMER SCHOOLGENERAL INFORMATION The Bridgeport ISD Summer School Programs target avariety of student needs. They are developed toprovide academic, intervention, bridge experiences, orcredit recovery opportunities for current BridgeportISD students. Each Summer School Program requiresan invitation or eligibility to participate.OverviewThe following pages of the 2025 Summer Programscatalog contain information related to participanteligibility, dates, times, and locations for each summerschool program.Summer school registration is not open enrollment.Student eligibility is determined by the home campus.Students eligible for each summer school programwill have a Custom Form available and will receiveregistration information. Registration windows varybased on the program and are listed on the program’sinformation page.RegistrationEach summer school program is intentionallydesigned to meet the instructional goals of theprogram. As a result, it is important for students tomaintain consistent attendance in summer schooland not miss a day due to planned absences.AttendanceTransportation is provided for all summer schoolprograms. When registering your student for summerschool, please indicate your student’s transportationplans: BISD school bus, car rider/driver, etc.TransportationThe Bridgeport ISD Student Code of Conduct hasbeen adopted by the Bridgeport ISD Board of Trustesand provides information to parents and studentsregarding standards of conduct, consequences ofmisconduct, and procedures for discipline. TheStudent Code of Conduct remains in effect duringsummer school.Expectations
