Thehardworking but nonetheless impoverishedpeople who call the Nippes and Ouestdepartments their homes desperately needreliable access to more nutritious food. Thesituation is projected to worsen in thecoming months due to sociopolitical andeconomic factors that have paralyzed thecountry for the past year. How You Can HelpBeekeeping is an ideal opportunity for thewomen of Nippes and Ouest to earn moremoney and become economicallyempowered. With your help, this project willprovide 1,108 beekeepers, most of whom arewomen, with the supplies and training theyneed to successfully raise bees. By sellingbee products like honey and wax, thesewomen will earn additional income, allowingthem to afford nutritious food for theirfamilies.
