Masks is the signature fundraising and community art event at the Museum of Art Fort Collins. Its primary purpose is to raise funds that will contribute substantially to the support of the museum’s exhibitions and educational programs by engaging the community in a unique, approachable, diverse and creative art experience. For twenty one years, the Museum of Art Fort Collins, has hosted Masks, an extraordinary community art project. Over the past twenty one years, over 3,500 Masks have been created and over 2 million raised by this extraordinary fundraiser and community art project. Join us in celebrating 21 years of Masks!HOW DO I PURCHASE A MASK?Masks in the 2025 exhibition are available for purchase in an online auction at: https://fly.causepilot.com/moafc/masks2025. The online auction will run from April 4 - June 6, 2024 and you can bid on as many Masks as you wish and the highest bidder wins! The online auction will end promptly at 9:00pm MT on June 6th!The opening bid for each Masks is $60.00 and will go up in increments of $10. You may place a maximum bid and the platform will bid for you up to your high amount. If you live outside of the Northern Colorado area, shipping charges may be added to your invoice if the museum has to ship the mask.BECOME A MASK COLLECTOROver 220 artists created an incredible and diverse selection of masks for this exhibition and online auction benefiting the museum. The people who make these works of art are your neighbors, friends and colleagues. Everyone started with a plain white clay form. Imagination, determination, inspiration, and creative decision-making took over to create this exciting exhibition.
