Project Update
It was last reported that the sign has not been due to insecurity. Also, for the same reason, the solar team has not been able to travel to the site to proceed with the installation.
Since then, the sign has been delivered to the Satellite Office at Miragoane. As soon as it gets delivered to the site, we will submit pictures.
Additionally, the solar team is planning to install solar street lamps this month.
FFTP's longstanding partner for the water purification component is no longer working in this region of Haiti. The community has expressed the importance of having a water purification solution and, therefore, has made the decision that they do not want the water well without the water treatment system. The water component is currently on hold as FFTP's Haiti office is in the process of seeking alternative partners to provide water purification systems.
