2025 PARK PROJECTS Parks are important for our community because they give everyone a place to play, relax, and connect with others. Each year, we work to improve and care for these spaces so they stay safe, fun, and welcoming for everyone. By updating park features and adding new ones, we help create spaces where people can be active, enjoy nature, and spend time together. Listening to community feedback and planning for the future makes sure our parks meet the needs of today and tomorrow. Here are a few of the projects we have planned for 2025: Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) • A Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) is a formal document designed to assist communities in the development of park and open space amenities that will satisfy the needs of their citizens. • A community survey and listening session was conducted in January 2025. These results will be used to complete the CORP. This plan is updated every five years and the final draft is expected to be rolled out in April 2025.
