florissantmo.com6Police DepartmentPD Drivin p PD Vacatio pFlorissan Polic Departmen Highlight Communit ProgramThe holiday season is a time for giving back, and the Florissant Police Department proudly participated in several initiatives to spread joy and support those in need throughout our community. One of our most beloved traditions is Shop with a Cop, where officers accompany children on a holiday shopping experience to ensure every child feels the magic of the season. This event builds lasting memories and strengthens connections between officers and families. We extend a special thanks to the Florissant Elks Lodge for their generous monetary support, which helped makes this program possible.Through our Summons of Joy program, officers surprise community members with holiday gift cards in place of a citation for minor infractions. This gesture spreads goodwill and embodies the holiday spirit, creating uplifting moments for all involved. We also partnered with the TEAM Food Pantry, where officers and volunteers worked together to unload and stock thousands of pounds of food. This effort helps ensure that families in our community have access to essential resources during the holidays and beyond. These are just a few of our programs that showcase our dedication to building strong community relationships and sharing kindness during this special time of year. We are deeply thankful to our partners and residents who help make these initiatives a success. Here’s to a great 2025!Neighborhoo Watc Progra This program encourages citizens to take an active role in keeping their neighborhoods safe by reporting suspicious activity, practicing effective personal safety techniques to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of a crime, watching out for each other in their neighborhood and staying in touch with fellow neighbors to encourage keeping your neighborhoods safe and free from crime.
