The pastadinner will take place during the last 2 hours of the expo. In order to give CRG an accurate count, we’d appreciate a RSVP if youplan to join us for dinnerYour timing tag will be affixed to the back of your bib. To assureproper timing, please wear your bib in front of your torso and onthe outermost layer of clothing. Volunteers will also be lookingfor your bib to make sure you're on the correct path.Your bib will be specific to thedistance you’re racing. Red - MarathonBlue - Half MarathonYellow - 5kWhite - Kids RaceCourse directional signage willalso follow this color pattern. Forexample: half marathon signs,arrows, and pavement markingwill be blue.6

VIP ParkingVIP Marathon and Half-Marathon All marathoners will receive a VIP Parking pass at packet pick upto be able to park steps away from the start line. General ParkingNon - Shuttle OptionsWe have some great options especially for those running the half marathon. Franklin Park and White LickTrail head both offer additional parking with a short warm up walk or run to the start. Lots are .6 and .82miles to the start finish line. Please Note: Both of these are in the path of the course. US 40 will close at 7am. You may not be able toleave immediately especially if you run the 5k. We expect that you will be able to exit both lots by 10am,possibly sooner based on race progress. 8

General ParkingWith a Shuttle OptionWe have partnered with the Plainfield Community School District to provide limited shuttle services. We willhave up to 3 school buses available to take participants from the overflow parking area to the start/finishline. Shuttles will start at 0600 and the last one will depart at 0700. The early shuttles are only forparticipants. You must have a race bib to get on the bus. The shuttle will resume making trips from 0800 to1200. You may also choose to walk/warm up run the paved trail system (no traffic crossings!) 1.22 miles to theStart Line. A restroom facility is available for use in this park. Take your Gear bags with you on the shuttlebus to our Units Gear Check Station. 9

Trail System: Walk/Run/Bike11The Town of Plainfield has an amazing trailsystem with 30+ miles of trails throughout thetown. If you would rather run/walk/bike from theoverflow parking area at Al & Jan Barker Park,you can do so very safely via the trail systemwith absolutely no traffic crossings. The route isjust over 1 mile. Walk, get a warm-up run in, orbike! You could opt to bring a bike or rent one atthe Pedal Plainfield Bike Share stations. Thiswould also be a perfect option for spectators tonavigate the course and catch their runner atmultiple spots. The Plainfield trail system ismapped in Google Maps to make it easy toplan a route.Pedal Plainfield Bike Share Info: Download theKoloni App (Android or Apple) to rent a bike.Rates are $1 for the first 30 min, then $2/hourafter that.

Gear Check Restrooms and Showers12The Richard A. Carlucci Recreation & Aquatic Center building will be open and available forparticipants/spectators before, during, and after the race. The building will have plenty of restrooms!The showers will also be available for use if you wish to grab a shower after the race.The shelter house just north of the Start/Finish Line has 2 restrooms available.There will also be a bank of Porta Potties available steps away from the Start/Finish Line.New for this year, we have partnered with UNITS tobe the official Gear Check for 2025. Look for theirstorage container near the start finish line. Use anybag you want, just attach your official gear checktag off your bib and give it to one of the UNITS Staffmembers.

Bib Pick UpBib pick up will take place at the start line from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Please allow enough time before your race tocollect your bib and get settled.Youth RaceYoung participants will have the option to turn around at the half-mile point or continue to the one-mileturnaround. At the finish, racers will be greeted by local elementary school principals, who will present eachfinisher with their medal.Road ClosurePlease note that U.S. 40 will be closed for the parade. Plan your travel accordingly to avoid delays.ParkingParking is available at the Plainfield Parking Garage, located at 125 N. Center Street, Plainfield.Parade ParticipantsFor those also walking in the parade, a Plainfield School Bus will be available just steps from the parking garage.The bus will transport participants directly to the parade staging area.
