Withschool budgets stretched to their limit, itis essential to fund these requests whichadvance every students’ educationalexperience and help ignite their passionfor learning. TEACHER DEVELOPMENTProfessional development conferences,annual Teach Camp speakers, newteacher’s academy and quarterly lunch &learns help Gull Lake staff keep pace withinnovative teaching methods andgrounded in GLCS educationalapproaches. The result is bettereducational outcomes for GL students.INNOVATION & CREATIVITYGrants and special programs, such asRobotics, Read & Ride, grants for studentclubs, literacy, physical education, arts,and music, encourage innovativeapproaches to teaching and learning andfoster a culture of creativity and problem-solving. The education of every student isimpacted across the entire district.EAGLE Story:Loyal, Bonnie, Trey, and BeckyEldridge have partnered with theGLCS Foundation to establish theEAGLE endowment to honor andrecognize their strong, ongoingcommitment to Gull Lake Schools and the community. The Eldridgeshave generously put forward a$50,000 matching challenge to helpEAGLE soar and to advance theeducation of GL students forgenerations to come. The Vision:Provide a lasting legacy of supportfor the advancement of education atGull Lake Community Schools,fostering a future where learning andopportunity thrive for all students.The GLCS Foundation began in 1983with $200 and a shared goal toprovide Gull Lake Community Schoolsstaff and students funding to sparkinnovative educational experiences.For 42 years, GLCSF has contributedover $3.6M to GLCS to expand andenhance education.
