10 11Outstanding Care & SupportTransition & Induction ArrangementsIn Blessed Trinity, we are aware that your child’s happiness in their new school is of paramount importance. To ensure smooth movement from Primary School to Blessed Trinity, our Transition Team organise the following; • A teacher from the Transition Team visits each Primary School and engages with primary 7 pupils and staff.• Individualised personal meetings are held for every new Year 8 student with their parent/carer.• A comprehensive Induction Programme provides new Year 8 students with confidence and clarity about life in Blessed Trinity.Outline of Care & Support StructureEach class has a Form Teacher who is a familiar face for them throughout their first year in Blessed Trinity.The year group has a highly experienced team to look after the care and welfare of our students; they are the Assistant Vice Principal, Head of Year and Assistant Head of Year. The Care Team takes a special interest in the personalised needs of each child, and will become very special in the lives of our Year 8 students. 26 27Exploring the World“The school ski trip was an amazing experience for me and my friends.”Educational visits are numerous and varied, and are an exciting extension to, and enhancement of, day-to-day school routine which support the delivery of the curriculum and include: field trips, theatre visits, University Open Days, outdoor pursuits and BTC Ski trip, to name a few. Keep an eye on our Facebook page “Trinity Belfast” for information about our up and coming trips abroad.
