MONTHLY MIXERS Monthly: Fourth Tuesday 5:30 – 7:30 PM Various Host/Member Locations Monthly Mixers offer a wonderful networking opportunity for Chamber members and future members to promote and increase visibility with fellow businesses, in a relaxed “after hours” environment. Monthly Mixer hosting is reserved for current Chamber Members. CHRISTMAS IN SORRENTO! Annually: Months of November & December - Various Events Location: East Lake Co. Chamber Christmas In Sorrento! started in 2019 with the "12 Days Of Christmas!" Raffle, along with the previously produced "Cookies With Santa!" and the Holiday Magnolia Wreath Sales program. In 2020, after many requests and suggestions, ELCC announced our very own "Light Up Sorrento!" Tree Lighting Ceremony, with Santa himself doing the honors. We also added our Christmas Poinsettia Sales and in 2022, the "Holly Jolly Movie Night!" was added to "Christmas In Sorrento!", along with "Photos With Santa!". Also in 2022, ELCC added the brand new "Santaville" set for our "Photos With Santa!". 2024 will see the addition of Mrs. Claus’s Holiday Bazaar”. Continuing our commitment to Community Events, the East Lake Chamber strives to bring cheer for the entire East Lake County area! Chamber of Commerce 2024 welcomes the brand new “Mrs. Claus’s Holiday Bazaar”, perfect for all those hoping to find that perfect Holiday decoration, fantastic gifts for friends and family and Holiday Merriment for a wonderful Sunday outing! Craft vendors and delectable edibles can be found at Mrs. Claus’s Holiday Bazaar, and the Bazaar will lead right into our annual “Light Up Sorrento!” with the big guy himself doing the honors. Vendor spaces will be available, so contact the Chamber office for more information....or as always watch our website and follow The Weekly Crier for all you will need to know to participate, whether as a vendor or an attendee! Chamber In 2020, after many requests and suggestions, ELCC announced our very own "Light Up Sorrento!" Tree Lighting Ceremony, with Santa himself doing the honors. Light Up brings families and the community together, watching area entertainment from Dancers to Drum Lines, Carolers and more! The East Lake's Light Up is held the first Sunday in December from 5-7 PM, and is the culmination of “Mrs. Claus’s Holiday Bazaar” earlier in the day! What a perfect way to start off the Christmas Holiday Season. Santa & Mrs. Claus arrive on Santa's "sleigh" to do the honors of Lighting up the East Lake Christmas Tree for all to enjoy. Then the Clauses convene to the brand new "Santaville" Photo set for everyone to come inside and enjoy a visit. Photos by a professional photographer for each guest when they leave is included in their visit. Santa's Elves have created a wonderful lasting spot for a little Christmas Magic for the season. Whether a graduating High School Senior or an individual choosing to “go back” to schoolto further their education.
