Materials3/4" Thick MelamineWhite Melamine - for a sleek look, white melamine with a particle board looks clean and has amodern aesthetic. Textured melamine - opt for textured melamine with a particle board core to create a touch ofinterest or visual flair. Edge Tape - provides a clean and finished look, hiding the raw particle board core underneath themelamine or other surface material. This enhances the overall aesthetics of your closet.Terminology Gable - vertical panel, available in a variety of sizes with the most common being 30" and 52" forsuspended applications. 84" and 90" for towers are 3/4" thick.Fixed Shelf - any shelf that is doweled in place and cannot be moved.Adjustable shelf - versatile shelves featuring adjustable positions achieved through shelf clipsand a series of drilled holes. 01Closet ApplicationsTypes of ClosetsWalk- in: essentially a small room dedicated to storing clothes, shoes, and accessories. It is largerthan a standard built-in closet with enough space for you to walk in and browse through yourbelongings comfortably.Reach-in: the opposite of a walk-in closet in terms of size. It is a built-in wardrobe space that'stypically smaller and does not allow you to walk inside. Reach-in closets are very common,especially in bedrooms, hallways, and smaller living spaces. Standard Dimensions - Hanging Long Hang (LH) When designing storage units, prioritize long items first by allocating 18"-24" of width. To maximizespace, consider placing these units in corners or other hard-to-reach areas. The design shouldincorporate 30" gables for additional height, along with two fixed shelves for stability and oneadjustable shelf for flexible storage.Medium Hang (MH) This closet unit is ideal for long garments like pants and long skirts.
