Brian Dawkins has achievedtremendous success on and offthe football field. As an athlete,Dawkins excelled as a safety atClemson University for fourseasons. He received first-teamAll-ACC Honors and second-teamAll-American Honors in 1995. Forhis outstanding contributions, hewas inducted into the ClemsonAthletic Hall of Fame in 2009. After his senior season atClemson, the Philadelphia Eaglesselected Dawkins in the 2ndRound of the 1996 NFL Draft, andhe rewarded the team far beyondtheir expectations. Dawkinsimmediately cemented himself asthe starting free safety during hisrookie season and became theleader of one of the most feareddefenses in the NFL. During histhirteen seasons with the Eagles,he led the team to the playoffseight times and to the Super Bowlfollowing the 2004 season. Whilean Eagle, Dawkins became the firstplayer in League history to recorda sack, an interception, atouchdown reception, and force afumble in the same game.We are proud to welcome Keynote SpeakerFormer Eagles SaferyKeynote Speaker Sponosr:BSI Corporate BenefitsHe completed his career withthree outstanding seasons playingfor the Denver Broncos. He finishedhis career as the only player inLeague history to amass morethan twenty-five interceptions,forced fumbles, and sacks in acareer. The Eagles retired his #20jersey in 2012, making him onlythe ninth player in the franchise’snearly century-long history to beso honored. He attained thesport’s ultimate achievementwhen he was inducted into the ProFootball Hall of Fame in 2018.

Dawkins’ excellence, however, transcends football. The Jacksonville,Florida native demonstrated outstanding character throughout hiscareer, giving back in many ways to the various communities hetouched. In 2009, Dawkins was named the Byron “Whizzer” White NFLMan of the Year, the highest honor bestowed by the NFLPA on a playerfor his dedication to community service. In recognition of Dawkins’integrity and community service, Clemson Head Coach Dabo Swinneyestablished the “Brian Dawkins Lifetime Achievement Award” in 2013,given annually to a former Clemson football player who demonstratesexemplary leadership and community service. In 2019, Dawkinsestablished The Brian Dawkins Impact Foundation to helpdisadvantaged young people, families and communities whilepromoting spiritual, cerebral, and physical wellness. The Foundationbelieves in the power of transformative moments to trigger a spark inyoung people who have the desire to make positive decisions in life andmerely need the tools to make it happen, resulting in positive rippleeffects on families and ultimately, on entire communities. Dawkins is happily married to Connie Dawkins. They have four children.The family currently resides in Orlando, Florida.
