NEOC - pronounced ne-äk - connects campers, ages 3 - 15, to nature with activities that spark their excitement, curiosity, and individuality! We offer an intimate camp setting that places a heavy emphasis on relationship building and challenge by choice. Every child who has attended NEOC has been so uniquely different and they have all been really successful. Our campus is the Elm Bank Reservation in Wellesley, an expansive property that includes river-access, trails, forested areas, gardens, and the opportunity for campfires. As we welcome campers from preschool age through middle school, all activities are offered with an age appropriate version. Camp activities include canoeing, archery, hiking, orienteering, outdoor survival skills, gardening, arts & crafts, music, cooking, games, sports, and wellness. Our camp culture of inclusion and appreciation allows for friendships to blossom and for campers to mentor one another. Whether a camper comes to NEOC for a week or the whole summer, it is a magical place, with unique experiences, that are new and different each week.We hope your child can try NEOC for themselves this summer!WELCOMEGet a glimpse of NEOCPAGE 2CAMPNEOC.COMSet in Nature. PAGE 4CAMPNEOC.COM3 YEARS - 1ST GRADEDUCKLINGS 3 years - 1st gradeDays at NEOC are designed to support the social, emotional, and physical growth of our youngest campers. Our safe and supportive framework encourages their comfort in exploring the natural world, an active lifestyle, and an ease in making friends. Familiar activities help Ducklings practice and master skills New activities encourage Ducklings to develop trust, make new discoveries, and build confidence For the three morning activity periods, Ducklings are completely outside and actively exploring nature Of the two afternoon periods, the first has quiet activities in a shaded or cooled location and the second is filled with fun games to burn off energy All campers enjoy an exciting theme day each Thursday Duckling groups adhere to a 1-to-5 staff-to-camper ratioOur thoughtful balance of consistency and variety makes a single camp week approachable and fun, while multiple weeks each feel as new and exciting as the previous week! Thank you for creating such a welcoming and fun environment for my daughter to explore this summer! The counselors were the highlight of her experience at NEOC - we could tell she really valued spending time with them. She came home singing the songs and telling us about the new activities she got to try. She still carries her canoe patch around with her." - K.C., AuburndaleRead more about our3 year olds - 1st graders program"2ND - 5TH GRADES6TH - 8TH GRADESRIVER RUNNERSPATCH SYSTEMDATES & DETAILS

SQUIRRELS & OTTERS 2nd - 5th gradeElementary school-aged campers experience days that are filled with exploration, projects, choice periods, and so much more. We do our best to blend an educational element into our activities and encourage experiential learning — using the woods, fields, and river as our classroom. These lessons are hidden in engaging and entertaining activities lead by the infectious counselors. When it’s fun, it never really feels like learning!Squirrels and Otters have core activities during their three morning activity periods throughout the week, such as: Archery Canoeing Garden exploration with specialists from Mass Horticultural Society Shelter building Trail walksThey select their two afternoon activities each day, from options that change throughout the week. Special friendships are created between campers of different ages during these afternoon sign-ups!PAGE 6"CAMPNEOC.COM2ND - 5TH GRADES The activities, the campers, and the size of NEOC really suited my son - he came home super happy every day. Another thing he liked was when his group went canoeing and he didn't want to. He was allowed to join another group and plant a f lower (he's taking good care of it and named it George the Dinosaur). It was nice that his counselors gave him that agency - he felt really respected!" - S.T., Wellesley"Read more about our2nd - 5th graders program6TH - 8TH GRADESRIVER RUNNERSPATCH SYSTEMDATES & DETAILS

PAGE 12CAMPNEOC.COMPATCH SYSTEM 3 years - 8th gradeNEOC uses a patch system to reward, recognize, and encourage campers. Patches represent learning accomplishments, acquiring skills, nature and conservation knowledge, and personal growth. On their first day of camp for the summer, campers receive a patch base: Ducklings - canoe Squirrels and Otters - arrow Wolves - compassEach morning thereafter, campers move their patch base from the “out” to “in” board when they arrive at camp. This housekeeping task is more importantly an exciting chance for campers to see if they earned a new patch! On a camper’s last day at camp for the summer, they are proudly presented with their patch base and patches to take home to share with their family and friends and to hold as a keepsake of their summer at NEOC. They are a huge source of pride! In addition to the camp-wide patch program, River Runners work to earn a very special River Runners patch.See our Patch Guide Our son loves NEOC. He enjoys every activity and was particularly proud of the patches he earned this year. It was a nice touch to give returning campers a special patch. He is so excited to return to NEOC next year and earn more patches." - C.P., WellesleyPATCH SYSTEM"DATES & DETAILS
