Teddy, Christina's English Cream golden retriever, serves asthe Vice President of Pup-Lick Relations. Although he's notinvolved in the design work, he's always around the office toprovide a little bit of canine comfort. Teddy loves belly rubsand treats, will most likely be walking around with his pickletoy when you stop by. He enjoys watching the activity onOrange Ave from the office window, and looking for squirrelsout back. To start, wecome to your home and take all necessarymeasurements and photographs. We also set up ouronline collaboration board to get your feedbackthroughout the process.We discuss your ideal goals for your home with you,along with your style and likes. If you don’t know, don’tworry! We are experts at asking just the right questionsto determine your style. We'll send you an in-depthquestionnaire that covers everything from your favoritepatterns to your must-have countertop materials. And toreally get a sense of your style, we'll also ask you toshare some photos of designs that inspire you.From there, we'll work our magic and put together aconcept & mood board presentation for you. Theseconvey the overall feel of your spaces. Once we get yourapproval to move forward, we will incorporate all of thedesign elements you love, share our proposed colorpalette, metals and materials, and how we plan toincorporate patterns, texture, and color into your space.We're all about collaborating with our clients, so we'llpresent this concept in person at our office or on Zoom.We want to make sure you love every little detail beforewe get started on making your dream space a reality. O U R D E S I G N P R O C E S SC O N C E P TD E V E L O P M E N TWe take care of everything during the design phase.We'll consult on your architectural plans, pick outfinishes, hardware, plumbing, and lighting fixtures,design custom cabinetry and trim work, and even selectall your furniture. Whew, that's a lot of decisions! Butdon't worry, we take our time and make sure we're beingthoughtful with each and every selection.We source all of our materials from our preferred trade-only vendors, so you know you're getting the good stuff.And when it's all done, we'll compile everything into acomprehensive design package. But before we getthere, we'll hold a meeting in our office (or on Zoom) togo over the presentation together. We'll have samples ofour selections laid out so you can see and feel thematerials in person before giving the final thumbs up.For those of you who are working with us virtually, noworries! We'll ship all the samples to you with a pre-paidreturn label. And when it comes to presenting ourconcepts, we like to do it right. That's why we presentone concept for each room, designed in its entirety sothat you can see the full, cohesive picture.Of course, we're not perfect, and we know thatsometimes revisions are needed. But that's okay,because we're happy to provide as many revisions asneeded. And if you're looking for additional options forfurnishings, we've got you covered. Once you've given us the green light on all yourselections, We'll prepare a detailed invoice for yourreview and signature, and before we place any orders,we'll collect a 100% deposit on all products upfront. Thishelps us keep things running smoothly and ensures thatwe can get your dream space delivered to you as quicklyas possible.But, as with all good things, ordering the perfect piecestakes time. since most of what we design is custom andmade to measure, they could have longer lead times. Weplan on this through the process and we promise to keepyou in the loop and let you know about any delays alongthe way.Once everything's been ordered, we'll track allpurchases and keep a close eye on things to make sureeverything arrives on time and in tip-top shape. All itemswill be shipped directly to our private warehouse, wherewe'll inspect, unpack, and assemble everything withcare. Once everything has arrived, we'll schedule adelivery and installation time that works for you.One thing to note, because we order everythingspecifically for you, we cannot accept any returns onitems we've ordered on your behalf. But don't worry,we'll make sure you love everything before we place anyorders!During the construction phase, we'll be right there withyou every step of the way. We'll make sure our vision iscoming together as planned and provide ongoingcommunication and site visits as needed. And if thecontractor has any questions, we're here to provideclarity and answers, so you don't have to. This is when we get to put all of our hard work intoaction and bring your dream space to life. We'll arrangefurniture, make sure everything is in its perfect place,hang artwork, lay out area rugs, and yes, even karatechop your throw pillows. We're all about those finishingtouches!To make sure we can work our magic, we do require thatwe have the home to ourselves on installation day (ormaybe go on vacation f it is a particularly large install).This way, we're not in your way and you're not in ours.And let's be real, who doesn't love a good reveal? Wewant you to be able to walk in and see your spaceperfectly styled, without any distractions.We always order key accessories during theprocurement phase, but as an added bonus, you maynotice that we've placed some select accessories andartwork in your home. These are items we feel completethe design and would love you to consider. If you fall inlove with them, they can be yours!And because we want to make sure we capture all of ourhard work, we'll have our photographer scheduled afterinstallation to take photos of every space we touched.These photos may end up on our website, social media,and even in editorial/magazine features!At the end of the project, we'll prepare a ProjectCompletion Guide for you. This guide will include productcare instructions, full specification sheets of all itemsthroughout from the construction and furnishing, and atestimonial request. We believe that transparency is key when itcomes to billing, which is why we price our design's with a flatrate design fee. This gives you a better idea of what to expect,so there are no surprises along the way. Additional hours aboveand beyond the agreed upon scope of work will be billedmonthly at our hourly rate of $250.00 per hour.All project management time is billed at a rate of $175.00 perhour and will be billed at the beginning of the month during allconstruction projects. This rate applies to all time spent on anyand all construction management. We are here to deliver aconcierge level of service for our clients and know you do notneed to be bothered with every minute detail. When it's time to begin ordering furnishings, we bill at an hourlyrate of $150.00 per hour for all procurement services. Thiscovers all of our time ordering, tracking, resolution of damages,filing claims, and more. Products are invoiced separately andrequire full payment upfront. Invoices will include a 20% flat rate for shipping, storage,delivery, and installation. We do not bill hourly for our installationand styling time. This is included in the 20% flat rate mentionedabove. We take pride in our white-glove delivery service, whichensures that all of your new furnishings are moved into placeand the boxes and packaging are discarded, leaving you with acomplete and perfect space. Some projects could takeseveral months, while others could take up to a year or more, depending on the scope of the project.We believe in transparency and keeping you informed every step of the way, which is why we'll discuss timelinesupfront before any design work begins. We'll work with you to set realistic expectations for the timeline of yourproject, and we'll keep you updated on progress every step of the way.D O Y O U C H A R G E A C O N S U L T A T I O N F E E ?Yes, we do charge a fee for our design consultations. Our in-home consultations are $675 for one hour, during whichwe will review the space, discuss your design goals, and answer any questions you may have.For clients who prefer a virtual consultation, we offer a 45-minute consultation via FaceTime or Zoom for $575. Duringthis time, we can review photos and videos of the space, discuss design ideas, and provide recommendations for nextsteps.We believe that investing in a design consultation is an important first step in any project. It allows us to get to knowyou, understand your vision, and determine how we can best help you achieve your design goals.
