This Christmas season, we're excited to journey together as a church family, keeping our hearts centered on Jesus through 25 days of intentional reflection, worship, and connection. The busyness of the season can easily take our focus away, but this guide is designed to help us pause, reflect, and prepare our hearts for the celebration of Christ's birth with just a few minutes each day.From lighting dvent candles that remind us of the hope, love, joy, and peace He brings, to moments of quiet reflection, Bible reading, and prayer for missions, The goal is to immerse ourselves in the story of Jesus and His love. Here’s what you’ll find in the guide:Each week, light a candle and reflect on themes like Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace. Allow the warmth of the candlelight to remind you of the light Jesus brings into our lives and into the world.Find space for a silence and solitude so you can get away from the distractions and noise of life and intentionally focus on Jesus.Spend time with the stories of Jesus’ Birth & other scripture, noticing what stands out and how His arrival speaks to you in new ways this season.Each week we will focus on a mission project or missionary family. We invite you to support them in prayer and consider how you can financially partner with the project or missionary in spreading the love and message of Jesus.Take a minute to pray about who you could invite to our Candlelight Services. Take the step to personally invite them with a text, a call, or a promo card. Challenge yourself to memorize scripture. Let the verse become a source of encouragement and reflection throughout the season.Take a short walk and pray for the people and community around you. COMMUNIONCommunion is a meaningful Christian practice that commemorates Jesus' sacrifice. Here are general instructions for taking communion:Remember Christ’s love, grace & sacrifice.Read John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
