It is a vital aspect of our lives that affects us all and its significance has becomeeven more apparent in the face of global pandemics.As we continue to face new and complex health challenges, I have the utmost confidencethat the future is in great hands. K E Y N O T E S P E A K E RMr. Dick received a bachelor’s of science degree from the College of Engineering at CornellUniversity. Mr. Dick dedicated his time to the School of Public Health at the University of Nevada,Reno where he served on the school’s Community Advisory Board and offered his time,knowledge and expertise to enhance the school’s mission and vision. Kevin Dick, Health Officer,Northern Nevada Public HealthKevin Dick served as the District Health Officer forNorthern Nevada Public Health (NNPH), formerlyknown as the Washoe County Health District, for morethan 11 years. He led the organization to nationalaccreditation from the Public Health AccreditationBoard in 2019, a program considered the nationalstandard for public health in the United States. Mr. Dick was recognized as 2022 Administrator of theYear – Human Services Network, honored with the 2021– W. Clark Santini Cup – Community Service Awardthrough Effective Communication, and presented withthe Nevada Public Health Association’s 2020 PublicHealth Hero Award. Prior to Mr. Dick’s appointment as District HealthOfficer in 2013, he served as the Director of the AirQuality Management Division. Previously, he served asDirector of the University of Nevada, Reno’s statewideBusiness Environmental Program and worked as anEnvironmental Engineer at the U.S. EnvironmentalProtection Agency in San Francisco.

Olufemi Erinoso was recognized as the winner of the Delta PhiCompetition.
