Jones & Sons’ prices are itemized showing a cost for all services and merchandise provided. These costs are divided intothree categories:1. Professional Services (services of staff, embalming, use of facilities, and automotive equipment).2. Cost of Merchandise (caskets, vaults, urns, suits, gowns, and programs).3. Cash Advances (cemetery, grave digging, flowers, and death certificates). Cash Advances are items that we, the funeral home,have no control over. These funds are paid to a third party on your behalf. These charges are due at the time of thearrangements. FUNERAL PAYMENT OPTIONS 1. EARLY PAYMENT DISCOUNT: is available for cash or cashier check payment in full if paid on or before the day of theservice. -A 2% CASH DISCOUNT will be given on the merchandise and professional services selected. 2. INSURANCE ASSIGNMENT: is accepted on one or more valid life insurance policies to be assigned to Ellis D. Jones & SonsFuneral Directors, for full or partial payment of funeral expenses. The policy must be provided to us, and the insurancecompany must verify the face value of the policy.-5% INSURANCE PROCESSING FEE. (Minimum $100) On Cash Advance Items funded. 3. VISA-MASTERCARD-AMERICAN EXPRESS: is accepted for full or partial payment of the funeral home’s professionalservice charges only. -2.5% SERVICE FEE is applicable. 4. PRE-NEED FUNERAL CONTRACT: is accepted for all pre-need contracts, bank or insurance fund. 5. CASH ADVANCE MONEY: is available on qualified insurance policies. 95% of the value of the policy can be paid to youwithin 24 hours after approval. The money can be used for cash advances expenses or professional services.6. GO FUND ME ACCOUNTS: Are the sole responsibility of the family and are not accepted as payment. Regardless of the payment option chosen, a final statement of funeral goods and services will be provided to the purchaser.
