Meeting called to order by John Pesicka  John Pesicka went over the Board reorganization recently voted on by the board in early September.  Elaine went over 2025 upcoming membership dues. As discussed prior to raise member dues by 5 dollars more each year. Motion made to raise by 5 dollars for 2025 made by Elaine, 2nd by Mike Hardy. Motion carried.  John Pesicka went over with the board in regards to what a couple should be considered in order to apply as a “couple’s membership”.  Elaine reminded board about the Lamb cook out in October at Abdullah’s. Elaine informed the Board that she has a meeting with the Clubs accountant coming up. 2025 budget will be started in January. Upcoming banquet will have a drop-dead date for reservation checks will be Oct 31.  Mike Hardy gave update for CHIPS Facebook page and webpage, uploading pictures from past events.  Ryan Berg informed board that inventory on remaining shirts will be done in October. Merchandise will be available for sale during the banquet.  Paul Dyke let the board know we are still waiting to hear about the Christmas tree sponsored by the club, pictures were taken at last events.  John Kolander spoke about Spring Car show.  Glen and Mick informed board they will be stepping down from running the Spring Rally after this year.  Barry Konken informed that board that an event in Omaha September 31st, Annual ice cream cruise event, car show, drag racing and burn out contest. It was requested that Barry help with the quick 60 for the show. Barry is inquiring if anyone wants to volunteer for the event. Also put out that Drag Racing will be 9/21/24 there will be drag racing in Spencer IA.  Denny reminded board of Dakota Days Parade.  Denny gave updated number for members and couples that have paid dues for upcoming new year.

SFCC BOARD MEETING MAY 28, 2024 | Look’s Marketplace | 6:30 PM BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT Denny Robinson Elaine Robinson Dave Rowe Hailey Johnke Ryan Berg Jennifer Johnke Cheri Beyer Barry Konken Mike Hardy Paul Dyke John Kolander Glen and Mick Hoffer BOARD MEMBERS NOT PRESENT John Pesicka Jeff Gifford GUEST/CLUB MEMBERS Mike Skiles MINUTES FROM MEETING  Meeting called order at 6:30pm at Look’s Market by President Denny Robinson.  This meeting was called on an earlier than normal date (to replace June BOD meeting) for the purpose of discussing a request for increase in spending from the Merchandise Committee.  The increase comes at the request of the Merchandise Chairs to offer more merchandise specifically for the Black Hills Corvette Classic. Committee chairs had originally asked for $6,000 while the budget committee recommended $3,000. Mike Skiles (Budget committee member) explained the reasoning behind their recommendation. Discussion ensued on amount of merchandise to buy, previous sales, online purchasing and to separate SFCC club sales from BHCC sales. (A reminder that BHCC sales is a moneymaker for the club)  After discussion and recommendation from the committee chairs to increase the budget by $2500 for a total of $5,000, motion was made by Ryan and seconded by Dave to approve the increase. Motion passed.  Other topics discussed included: o Club picnic Aug 14th at Falls Park (Farmer market pavilion) o Mike Hardy has announced he will be stepping down from Chips Editor at the end of the year due to personal and business commitments. Board will be looking for a replacement for Mike to start in 2025. o VP Hailey said that the Poker Run is a work in progress and would have more information at a later date.  Meeting adjourned at 8:00pm Respectfully submitted, Dave Rowe, Acting Secretary

Meeting called to order by prior Prez Dave Rowe.  -Dave Rowe gave updates for upcoming Saturday events (Funeral for Ron K and Spring Car show) time lines for both events.  -Dave Rowe gave update for Surf Ball Room event Aug 2nd and 3rd. Reminded for the car show for that weekend for the event.  -Jeff Gifford informed that Voices Against Cancer will be attending the Spring Car Show, Star Wars 501st and Mando Mercs will attend event.  -Cheri gave update for NCCC .  -Barry updated on the Summer Classic event in Spearfish. Gave a list of open events and business that people can attend during the Classic.  -Haley gave update on paid memberships and update on fundraiser for Mike Skiles grandson. Gave reminder for the poker run on August 10th.  -Jen informed board that online store closed for sales. Gave financials for the online store open period. Online merchandise for the Classic is being worked on still.  -Ryan requested the board put out a call for volunteers to pull the trailer for the Classic and other events.  -Paul still waiting from people in the Capital in regards to the Christmas tree the Club sponsors. Asked for volunteers to take pictures at the next few Driven dines.  -Glen and Mick gave updates on the Spring Rally results.  -John Kolander asked for volunteers for members to help park cars at the upcoming Spring Car Show.  -7:11 P.M. Meeting called to order by President Denny  Rob Keisacker introduced and gave introduction for Voices Against Cancer and potential future partnership with club to provide rides for kids.  President Denny gave reminder for upcoming membership meeting, Okoboji event and Spring Rally.  Mike Hardy gave update on CHIPS site, confirmed events are set on the site  Paul informed board he is working on adding pictures from past events to books.  Glen and Mick confirmed that Spring Rally is all set to go and everything lined up.  John Kolander gave updated report in regards to Spring Car Show in May 2024.  Jen and Ryan gave update for online store opening to order merchandise, still finalizing inventory and potential products. T-shirt designs are submitted for the Classic event.  Barry updated board on event for Classic in July. Event will have new venders attending the event to sell merchandise. Hot Summer Nights is set to go for location and time. Caravan update to the Classic. Classic will have no drag racing event.  President Denny gave updated count on members that have paid this year’s dues.  Elaine gave treasury update. Provided figures for 2024 budget and analysis, that the budget committee had reviewed. Updated the Board on financial CD’s and investment accounts.  Motion made to accept the budget, John Pesicka motioned, 2nd by Mike Hardy, motion carried to accept the budget presented for 2024.  Motion made to later financial accounts/CDs , motion made by John Pesicka, 2nd by John Kolander , motion carried to move finances around in accounts.  Dave Rowe gave board an updated report on dance coming up at the Surf Ballroom in Iowa.  Paul Dyke gave a report on his collection on photographs for the club and that he’ll be missing a couple of meetings and asking for volunteers to take phots in his absence.  President spoke about looking for city parks big enough to host future Corvette meetings or events.  7:22 P.M. Updated the board on paid memberships and non-paid dues. Let us know that the website has this year’s full schedule posted. Presented an idea that the VP Haley’s sorority at her college wants to conduct a poker run in Aug 2024. Donation for poker run will go to Mike Skiles Grandchild. Announced if still interested in seeing the Corvette museum, there are still slots available. -Treasury gave results of 2023 tax returns and current balances of accounts. -John Kolander gave update for spring car show set to go for May 18th, SDSU is scheduled to have their ice cream truck present. -Mike Hardy presented updates and acknowledge the events email that went out to all members. Informed board the events are on the website and Facebook page. The Club now has over 1,000 followers on Facebook. Gave updates for spring rally is almost complete for the route and destinations. -Jen Johnke gave results of Treasure audit; everything was found to be in order and accounted for. -Treasure gave detailed loss and profit from 2023 and proposed budget for 2024. -Board discussed ideas for the club getting together at a local park in 2024. -Ryan Berg informed board that the logos are completed for the 2024 classic. Budget is being finalized for the merchandise. Online store will continue to be used for sales. -Barry gave updates on registration for BHCC. -Cheri gave updates for NCCC. - 7:56 Meeting ended, Motion to adjourn made by John Pesicka , 2nd by Ryan Berg. Announced Midwest honors flight will have a memorial ride this year.  President announced the resignation of VP Jeff Watkins due to job relocation.  6:38 meeting paused.  6:38 SPECIAL MEETING to vote in new VP started. President informed us that Hailey Johnke would like to volunteer to be new VP and as a candidate. Board took vote for the appointment of Hailey as the new VP, unanimous decision by board was voted to appoint her as the new VP.  6:40 Board meeting resumed.  President gave update for CHIPS on the update for the website on webmaster.  Treasure gave updates on 2023 taxes and updated financials.  Paul inquired about the clubs involvement for the capitals Christmas tree event and ideas on ornaments for next year’s tree the club sponsors.  John Kolander informed the board that the Spring Car show event date will be May 18th at the Alliance center from 1-4pm.  Glen and Mick gave updates on Spring Rally, 1st weekend in May.  Barry let the board know the registration is open for the 2024 Classic, also gave update that the drag strip will be closed this year.  Mike Skiles informed board that the Drive N Dines might have possible dates for events and are being worked.  Doc Walker gave the Board an invite from the National Music Museum in Vermillion. Invite is to host a private event for the club.  Motion made for $500 dollar donation for Mike Skiles great grand baby for medical condition. BARRY INFORMED CLUB THAT THE DRAGSTRIP AT CORVETTE CLASSIC MAY NOT BE OPEN AND AN ALTERNATE SITE IS IN THE WORKS.  CHERI UPDATED BOARD WITH NCCC ON WAIVER FOR CORVETTE CLASSIC AND NEW RULES IN REGARDS TO SIGNING AND MAINTAINING THE FORM.  7:40 MOTION TO ADJURN 1ST BY DAVE 2ND BY JEFF Respectfully submitted, Jeff Gifford, Secretary
