From the Pastor Praise the Lord Saints, uring the past ten years that God has ordained Upper Room Worship Center and called me into the Pastoral office, I am in utter amazement at how faithful God is to His Word. If you put your trust in God, He will never fail you. The road has not been easy, the sun has not always been shining, and the resources havenot always been available, but God has never failed us. I am reminded of a songwriter, Rev. Clay Evans, who wrote, “As I look back over my life and I think things over, I can truly say that I’ve been blessed; I have a testimony.” I am convinced that one of the most important weapons we have against the enemy and the most strategic pulling power we have with unbelievers is our testimony. Don’t ever be ashamed of where God has brought you from because if He brought you to it, He will bring you through it. People of God, Galatians 6:9 declares, “And let us not beweary in well doing: for in due season, we shall reap, if we faint not.” Let us step into the new vision… let’s step into the new position… let’s step into the new anointing… let’s step into the new power and authentic presence of God. Ministerial Team Ordained and licensed ministers, evangelists, elders, and ministers in training, under the leadership of the Pastor to serve and dedicated to winning souls to Christ. Media Ministry Reaching the world beyond the church walls through live streaming on Facebook and YouTube. Praise Team & Musicians Making a joyful noise unto the Lord Jesus Christ by leading the congregation in songs, praise, and worship. Sunday School Teaching Christian education classes for adults and the youth through the Word of God to inspire them and grow their faith in God.Missionary Reaching out to those in need, during a loss, support to the sick and shut-in, spiritual support and prayers.Women’s Ministry Opportunities for women to deepen their faith through fellowship, grow in their relationship with God, through devotional studies, prayer groups, and women conferences. Kitchen Committee Facilitating meals in support of some church services/events, hospitality, enhancing the overall church experience for members and visitors.Youth Ministry Reaching all young people. Providing Christian education learning the Word of God through activities that nurture spiritual growth.Pastor’s Aide Provides encouragement, prayers, and spiritual support to the pastor and his family. Alter Ministry Support to the pastor in ministering to the lost leading them to salvation during an invitation to the alter for prayer, deliverance, and spiritual encourage building up the weak. Men’s Ministry Opportunities for men to deepen their faith through fellowship, through men retreat to grow in their relationship with God. Build one another up.
