Scholar Craft proudly produces the very finest truly American made school furniture and has grown into a position of leadership in the educational furniture industry. In a manufacturing world where the term Made in America has been used loosely or lost in semantics, we strive to make our products with 100% US sourced raw material. Our six US factories employ local talent which stimulates the local and national economy. We believe in making sure our steel, plastics and wood products are sourced here in the US. These are considered commodities to others and many companies purchase raw materials from wherever and whomever is selling it the cheapest that day. We will never cut corners to save a few dollars. We will always pay a higher price to get the same quality materials our clients have relied on from us. CONSISTENT INGREDIENTSScholar Craft uses decades-old recipes in exact amounts of pigment and superior grade polypropylene to ensure high-quality chair shells. Other manufacturers reduce the levels and quality of their pigment and use inconsistent polypropylene to reduce costs which causes shell cracking, blushing and color variation.PRODUCTION PROCESSScholar Craft has their own injection molding, food grade certified, US plant to ensure strong and flexible shells. Other manufactures and their third party providers speed up the process during the busy school season which causes their shells to warp.
