THE CAPITOL CAMPUS TODAYAfter 80 years at 5th and E Street, the Georgetown University Law Center established the current campus in the Downtown East neighborhood in 1971. This location has now grown into Georgetown’s Capitol Campus. The newly added buildings include the interdisciplinary research center at 500 1st Street NW, opened in 2020, followed by the student residence hall at 55 H Street NW in 2022.
