AGENDA Friday August 18 11 00 a m to 12 45 p m Registration near Golf Pro Shop Tournament Gift Pick Up Lunch served in the Ballroom Join our professionals at the range for stretching massage and golf swing tips before play 12 50 p m Announcements by the 1st tee 1 00 p m Shotgun start for on course play On course activities contests and food drink stations Post Golf approximately 5 30 p m Change from golf to cocktail attire Locker facilities and change rooms available Additional showers available on second floor of Clubhouse 6 15 p m to 7 00 p m Cocktail hour by chit with passed canap s 7 00 p m Enjoy a three course meal After Dinner Enjoy live entertainment in the lounge then cozy up to the fire on the back lawn conditions permitting
D E TA I L S Format Each grouping will play as a team of four The game being played is called the 1 2 3 Waltz The scorecard will indicate how many of your team s scores will count on each specific hole Examples Hole 1 one score from the group hole 2 two scores from the group hole 3 three scores from the group After your round the Golf Pro Shop will use Golf Genius to calculate the net scores on your teams behalf Handicapping All players will receive 90 of your individual handicaps to a maximum of 36 Partial strokes 5 will be rounded up Guests without a handicap we ask you to sign up for the trial version of Golf Canada in advance of the tournament www golfcanada ca to establish a handicap for this event Tees All players will play from the Green Tees Tie Breaking In the event of a tie for 1st overall a closest to the hole contest will take place on the 9th fairway from 100 yards away Each group will select one player to hit the shot Closest shot will be the winner Posting The nature of this game does allow for some players to pick up their ball if they are not going to count for the team score Should you complete all holes you can post your score to Golf Canada Guests will have to post their own scores
ON COURSE CONTEST Hole 2 Closest to the Hole Win a pair of Sundog eyewear Hole 5 Longest Putt Made Win a TaylorMade Spider putter Hole 7 Lonest Drive Win a TaylorMade Golf bag Hole 8 Closest to the Hole Win a pair of Sundog eyewear Hole 10 Longest Drive Win a TaylorMade golf bag Hole 13 Closest to the Hole Win a pair of Sundog eyewear Hole 14 Longest Putt Made Win a TaylorMade Spider putter Hole 17 Closest to the Hole Win a pair of Sundog eyewear Golf Pros on the Course Hole 8 Fore Caddy Two of our Professionals will caddy for your group on Hole 8 They will provide help rake traps read the green and tend the pin Hopefully they will help lower your team scores for this hole Hole 13 Beat the Pro One of our Professionals will act as a group mulligan for your team Should the pro s tee shot improve your proximity to the hole all your group members can play from the pro s ball
RULES Golf Canada Rules Govern All Play except when amended by local rules Local Rule construction abnormal course conditions from renovations Any ball coming to rest within irrigation scarring is deemed to be an abnormal course condition Free relief is allowed when the ball is in or there is interference by an abnormal course condition The nearest point of complete relief should be identified and a ball must be dropped in and come to rest in the relief area Examples being irrigation scars tree stump holes and other construction areas or dormant grass on holes 3 4 15 and 16 fairways If in doubt of a ruling please play two balls and report the scenario to the Golf Shop after your round to determine the correct score Drop areas on holes 2 8 and 10 are in use for this tournament Players must attempt to clear the penalty area only once before proceeding to the drop zone on the other side of the hazard Range finders are permitted Relief Option From Bunkers You may under a two stroke penalty take relief from a bunker Your drop option is anywhere inline of point of entry no closer to the hole Local Rule for Provisional Ball To encourage pace of play you may play a provisional ball anytime you believe your ball may be lost in a penalty area If your ball is found your provisional ball must be abandoned
