THE ARTS Arts Crafts Tiny Art Show In Person Display your artistic talents in our Tiny Art Show Starting Thursday June 1 register online at www greenfieldlibrary org adults programs events to pick up a tiny art kit containing everything you ll need to create your own mini masterpiece Kits include a 3 x3 canvas acrylic paint and brushes Kits will be available starting Thursday June 8 Return your completed art to be displayed at the library by Friday June 30 The tiny art will be on exhibit for the month of July Art can be picked up by artists at the conclusion of the Tiny Art Show on Tuesday August 1 Open to patrons 13 years and older Greenfield Library Art Fair In Person Sunday July 16 10 00 AM 2 00 PM Konkel Park 5151 W Layton Ave Join us for the 5th Annual Greenfield Library Art Fair In collaboration with the Greenfield Farmer s Market the Art Fair will be held at Konkel Park again this year Stop by check out the art and support your local artists If you are interested in participating please contact Gloria at gloriam greenfieldwi us for more information Art Exhibits In Person June1 June 30 Artwork of Jayne Cappelletti Susan Bonis John Yost This group of three from Waukesha will display different types of artwork Jane paints in acrylic and water color Sue works with oil for her paintings and John uses textures brush marks and bright colors They are also regulars at the Library s annual Art Fair August 1 August 31 Wauwatosa Artists Workshop The Wauwatosa Artists Workshop founded 1980 is an active group of working artists in the Southeastern Wisconsin area This group of artists will be displaying many paintings including watercolor consisting of landscapes and animals CHILDREN FAMILY PROGRAMS Lap Sit Story Time In Person Facebook Tuesdays 9 30 10 00 AM 10 30 11 00 AM June 6 July 25 no program June 20 or July 4 facebook com greenfieldpubliclibrary Join us for a half hour of stories rhymes and silly songs It s the best way for any child to start the day Recommended for ages 6 months 3 years but ALL ages are welcome Toddler Story Time In Person Facebook Wednesdays 10 30 11 00 AM June 7 July 26 facebook com greenfieldpubliclibrary Join Ms Christine for stories songs and fun activities Recommended for ages 1 3 years but all ages are welcome Caregivers stay with children during the program Story Times with Mr Mark All Together Now In Person Facebook Thursdays 10 30 11 00 AM June 8 July 27 facebook com greenfieldpubliclibrary Join Mr Mark for stories from far and wide and near at home Stories will take place in Story Corner of the Children s Library All ages welcome

CHILDREN FAMILY PROGRAMS ADULT PROGRAMS Evenings of Wonder In Person Facebook Thursdays 6 30 7 30 PM June 15 July 27 facebook com greenfieldpubliclibrary Open Acoustic Jams In Person First Wednesdays of the Month 6 00 7 30 PM June 7 July 5 June 15 Musician John Duggleby All American Classics bridges the generation gap from kids to seniors with something for everyone Twice named Madison Area Music Assn Children s Entertainer of the Year June22 Mr Mark and Miss Gloria our hilarious library storytelling duo have lots of stories songs and fun to brighten your day June 29 Wehr Nature Center Bee Kind to Bees You won t get stung but you will be amazed by these wonderful insects that pollinate our produce and other plants and make honey July 6 Mr Mark and Miss Christine bring stories and science together Will it be safe Probably Will it blow your mind Definitely July 13 Mr Mark tells stories in the exotic location of our Children s Garden It is a beautiful element of our library located on the west side of the building July 20 Build A Car We provide cardboard boxes and lots of craft supplies You provide the creativity and imagination to make your own vehicle These vehicles will be pretend and should not be driven on the roads In person only July 27 Storyteller Coral Conant Gilles stories are told with her voice and her body No story is told the same twice because the audience is a living breathing part of the story Come be a part of the story Grab your guitar banjo ukulele or any other unplugged instruments you may have and bring them to the Greenfield Library Bring some friends and play with fellow community members Can t fit your piano through the door Play ours Can t play Stomp and sing along Let s make some great music together The Greenfield Aces Cribbage Club In Person First and Third Fridays of the Month 2 00 4 00 PM June 2 16 July 7 21 Whether you are just interested in learning to play or have won a few Cribbage tournaments in your day the Greenfield Aces Cribbage Club is a perfect place for players of all levels to come together over a classic pastime Sheepshead Night In Person Second Tuesday of the Month 6 00 8 00 PM June 13 July 11 We have heard that the Sheepshead playing community is alive and well here in Greenfield so we are now offering another chance for these players and newcomers to gather at our library to enjoy the beloved card game Open to all experience levels Gardening Workshops In Person One Thursday a Month 7 00 8 00 PM June 1 July 13 Come and learn from local native plant and gardening experts about various topics that are pertinent in having a healthy garden and landscape on your property These workshops will be a valuable resource for those taking part in our Seed Library Attendees are also welcome to talk to other gardeners ask the experts questions and even swap plants
