Additionally, this division supports hundreds of community events throughout the city on an annual basis. Concerts in the Park A Huntsville summer tradition, Arts Huntsville and Huntsville Parks & Recreation’s Concerts in the Park start on the first Monday in June and are held over 10 weeks, every Monday evening through Aug. 7. The free, award-winning concert series showcases local talent in genres ranging from rock, pop, folk and country to Latin, dance, R&B and more. The music takes place on the Huntsville Museum of Art outdoor stage at Big Spring Park from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Concertgoers should bring their own seating. Leashed pets welcome.
