Greetings Educators,We are excited to be hosting this year’s LATM/LSTA jointconference at the Raising Cane’s River Center and are anxious tosee everyone November 2 and 3. This year the two-day format willallow less time away from your students while still offering aquality, professional learning opportunity. The 2023 LATM/LSTAConference: Back for the Future (https://lsta.info/annual-conference) will begin Thursday, November 2 with concurrentsessions at 8:30 AM and will last throughout the day, concludingwith the awards ceremony at the Louisiana Arts and ScienceMuseum. Baton Rouge has a variety of menu offerings in itsdowntown restaurants for those looking to enjoy a relaxingdinner as well. The conference will continue Friday with a halfday of concurrent sessions concluding at 12:30 PM.The conference committee continues to work hard to prepare agreat event for math and science teachers of all grade levels. Youwill have the opportunity to attend useful and informationalconcurrent sessions while networking with other educators fromacross the state and region. Sessions will focus on Mathematics,Science, STEM, STEAM, and/or General Classroom Practices. Please consider sharing your expertise with your peers bysubmitting a concurrent session proposal.
