THE CRUSHERS WOULD LIKE TO HONOR DAVID COACH FAUGNO FOR HIS LONGTIME SERVICE AND LOVE OF THE ORGANIZATION DAVE GREW UP IN GREENWICH GRADUATING FROM GREENWICH HIGH BEFORE STARTING HIS CAREER AND FAMILY COACH JOINED THE CRUSHERS WHEN HIS SON WAS ONLY 5 YEARS OLD BRINGING HIM TO BIBLE STREET TO RUN AROUND WITH THE KIDS WHILE HE HELPED OUT HIS DAUGHTER CHARLI AND SON DAVID LATER JOINED THE TEAM CHARLI AS A CHEERLEADER AND DAVIE AS A FIERCE LINEBACKER AND SAFETY DAVE LOVED NOTHING MORE THAN SEEING HIS KIDS DO THEIR THING BUT EVEN MORE SO DAVE LOVED COACHING OTHER PEOPLES CHILDREN TO HELP THEM BE THEIR BEST HE COACHED AT THE BANTAM JUNIOR AND SENIOR LEVEL AND EVEN AFTER HIS CHILDREN GRADUATED FROM THE PROGRAM AND WENT ON TO CHEER AND PLAY FOOTBALL AT THE HIGH SCHOOL HE STAYED ON WITH THE ORGANIZATION HELPING TO COACH AND MANAGE OUR EQUIPMENT WHICH IS ALWAYS A FULL TIME JOB DAVE WAS FUN FUNNY PASSIONATE AND LOVED BEING A DAD AND COACH HE LOVED THE CRUSHERS SO MUCH THAT ONE OF HIS LAST WISHES WAS THAT IN LIEU OF FLOWERS DONATIONS BE MADE TO THE TEAM HIS LEGACY LIVES ON AND CAN BE SEEN IN THE BENCH DEDICATED TO HIM ON THE SIDELINES OF BIBLE STREET WHERE NO DOUBT EVERY FALL HE TAKES A SEAT AND WATCHES THE NEW GENERATION OF CRUSHERS AND ROOTS THEM ON WE LOVE AND MISS YOU DAVE COS COB CRUSHERS 4 2023 FOOTBALL CHEER

LAWRENCE J FOWLER 1942 2023 THE CRUSHERS ARE PROUD TO HONOR LAWRENCE COACH LARRY J FOWLER FOR HIS LOVE AND DEDICATION TO THE CRUSHER FAMILY COACH LARRY PASSED AWAY THIS YEAR AT THE AGE OF 81 BUT NOT BEFORE LEAVING A LEGACY EVEN GREATER THAN HIS OWN LARRY MOVED TO COS COB WHEN HE WAS TEN AND GRADUATED FROM BOTH COS COB ELEMENTARY AND GREENWICH HIGH AFTER SERVING IN THE U S NAVY HE RETURNED HOME WORKING AS A DISTINGUISHED ARBORIST AND FOREMAN HE CAME TO THE CRUSHERS IN 2019 AFTER RETIRING A DEDICATED COACH AND VOLUNTEER FOR THE TEAM YOU COULD ALWAYS FIND LARRY HELPING OUT ONE OF THE KIDS OR COACHES ALWAYS WITH A SMILE AND ALWAYS WITH A GREAT STORY TO TELL HIS LOVE OF THE GAME AND HIS GRANDKIDS COULD ALWAYS BE SEEN AS BOTH ARE PART OF THE CRUSHER FAMILY HIS GRANDSON NATHAN NATE COLLINS A PROUD AND POWERFUL SIX YEAR CRUSHER AND HIS GRANDDAUGHTER ASHLEY A SIX YEAR CHEERLEADER WHO IS CURRENTLY A JUNIOR AT GHS BESIDES SEEING HIS PRIDE IN HIS GRANDKIDS IT WAS ALSO WONDERFUL TO SEE THE BIG SMILE LARRY WOULD GET WATCHING HIS DAUGHTER STACEY COLLINS RUN OUR CHEERLEADING SQUADS AND HIS SON IN LAW ROB COACH THE KIDS WE WILL MISS LARRY GREATLY BUT HIS LEGACY WILL LIVE ON ONCE A CRUSHER ALWAYS A CRUSHER LOVE AND MISS YOU LARRY COS COB CRUSHERS 5 2023 FOOTBALL CHEER
