A Letter From the Board of DirectorsAs we reflect on 2023 and all of the work that has been done to shine a light on the hidden epidemicof poor indoor air quality, we want to celebrate what your support has made possible. These wins arenot easy feats for a foundation as new as ours, and it is only because of you that we have achievedthese milestones. This report stands as a testament to the unwavering dedication of those who support our Foundationand share in our mission to bring about large-scale and meaningful reforms, recognizing safe indoorair as an inherent human right. Please know that you have our profound and sincere appreciation foreverything that you do to support this cause. But our work is just beginning. We are on a crucial mission to change the narrative around misinformation and archaic buildingpractices that overwhelm, mislead, and keep people sick. Further, our medical system continues tooverlook and dismiss the impact that mold, mycotoxins, mVOCs, and other indoor pollutants have onhuman health. We don’t believe it is a coincidence that at the same time scientists have called us the “indoorgeneration,” we, as a society, are also sicker than ever. The average person spends more than 90% oftheir time indoors. Yet, too little attention is paid to how our health is affected by these indoorenvironments. This needs to change. We know this problem won’t be solved overnight, but by coming together with people like you, we findcontinuous inspiration knowing that we are together in this fight. It's time for our society to recognizethat poor indoor air quality can impact us from conception to the grave, and to take action to addressthis issue on all fronts. We are ready to roll up our sleeves and eagerly welcome the exciting work that awaits us this newyear. We look forward to changing the air with you in 2024!Sincerely,The Board of Directors, Change the Air FoundationChangeTheAirFoundation.orginfo@ChangeTheAirFoundation.orgPH 888-628-2282
