We are pleased to share Randolph Community School Summer Camp offerings.Our Summer Trailblazers day camp (for Kindergarten – Grade 5) includes fun-lled days of sports, games, arts and crafts, waterplay and surprise guests. “Fun Friday” was a hit last year and, by popular demand, it will be back! On Fridays, pizza lunch is included for all campers and entertainment may be planned by our Summer Leaders. Weekly visits to a local pool and day trips are planned for the older campers (Grades 2–5). Mini-trips for the younger campers may be scheduled throughout the summer.Admission fees and trip transportation are included for all trips.Students entering 6th – 8th grade are invited to join our Summer Travelers day camp. Travelers are on the road every day. Adventures may include trips to the beach, local pools, amusement parks, water parks, baseball games, mini-golf, local and state parks for hiking, and more. Our Summer Explorers has something for everyone. Our arts camps include Band, Orchestra, Theatre, and Vocal choices. A new camp – Dance – has been added! Each camp includes an opportunity to shine – with optional performances planned. Culinary camp returns this summer with new recipes to try and new kitchen skills to learn. Explorer camps will run in half-day sessions (morning and afternoon) with dates and camp choices varying throughout the summer.Our Summer Leaders camp (Counselors-in-Training) for Grades 9-11 returns this summer. Summer Leaders work with younger campers to learn skills needed to be good role models, while preparing to become a camp counselor in the future. CPR training and certication is included. Applications to be a Summer Leader are due by March 5, 2023.GREAT NEWS! Campers do not have to be a Randolph Township School student or a Randolph Township resident to attend camp. Our camps are open to all!Early registration is encouraged to receive the best discounts and to ensure your child’s place in their choice of camps. Campers play music with their peers and work with older student counselors, as well as professional musicians and Randolph teachers. Join the fun in Band and Orchestra Camp this summer! An optional recital featuring campers and teachers will be held on the last day as noted. All abilities are welcome (beginner to advanced)! Note: Cycle classes in piano, guitar, and music technology are oered to all.For the best experience, two consecutive weeks are recommended. Summer Leaders are “Counselors in Training” (CITs) who learn skills needed to be good role models for campers, while preparing to become a camp counselor in the future. Leaders primarily help in a variety of capacities within the Summer Trailblazer camp such as working with groups throughout the day, assisting during field trips (trip transportation and admission for any planned trips is included) and more. Leaders work with camp directors and counselors to plan activities.
