Ron Kim Head of School B I have watched many of you grow from freshmen to seniors developing as athletes and as leaders through big wins and tough losses Through it all you have made me feel so proud You play hard you play for each other and you play with integrity and respect for the opponent and for the game You have represented the Bishop s School so well and have placed the program on such strong foundations With great appreciation I thank you Ron Kim Head of School Congratulations to our dedicated and determined seniors Tyler Boynton Will Cluskey Chase Jordan Nick Ratto and Tayshawn Taylor Your freshman year started as a COVID season with only three games but you have all been an integral part to shaping the success of our program over the past 4 years Last season you helped us win the coveted Coastal Conference League Championship Title posting an overall 9 3 record and going undefeated in league play I have enjoyed watching you compete in tough loses and exciting wins The brotherhood you have built with your teammates will last a lifetime and I look forward to following your careers on and off the field when you graduate Together you have continued to carry on the rich tradition of Bishop s football Once Knight always a Knight Paula Conway Athletic Director Tyler Boynton Tyler is a menace to be reckoned with on the field Off the field he is one of the kindest most genuine young men that you will come across His growth in this sport has been astronomical Will Cluskey His determination discipline and drive have turned him into one of the premier kickers in the country Will s honesty and integrity endear him to teammates and coaches Chase Jordan Chase puts in the work He gives relentless effort in the library and the weight room This behind the scenes work ethic has turned him into the student and football player that he has become Nick Ratto Nick has been a great addition to our program He is quiet works at his craft and is willing to do anything to help the team HeaSdhFaonoetbWaallltCoonach Tayshawn Taylor One of the most likable young men I ve ever coached His smile lights up the room His heart and concern for others is impeccable His speed and athleticism lights up the scoreboard A phenomenal young man

Tyler Boynton 60 The best running mate I could have both on offense and on defense They call him the truth because he is impossible to escape He may be cloudy but I will always be cloudier Tyler has been awesome I love joking with him but I appreciate when he brings seriousness and hypes the team up When he came to the house 200 dollars of ribs were gone after 10 minutes Tyler has a great sense of humor and is one of those teammates that you can always go to if you feel down or just want to laugh around with Tyler is a great football player and he plays a big role on both offense and defense He makes huge blocks and gets important sacks I am very happy I have gotten to know Tyler and get closer with him over the past two three years playing football and baseball together He is an absolute monster on the football field and a very fun guy to hang out with off the field which I love about him Tyler is a big gentle giant and one of the best and funniest leaders I ve ever been with Always takes care of the new guys and never discloses anyone and is super friendly The weatherman the truth the shark big Ty Unstoppable force Boys it s cloudy today But you have to be cloudier Tyler always brings his energy and positivity to the practices and games He is firm when he needs to be but can also calm down and state what is new to be done Tyler is an outstanding leader and someone many younger guys look up to He s not a senior who treats others like they re below him but rather like his equal Tyler is just the truth He is a funny guy and great to be around He is a great leader on and off the field You always come to practice every day ready to take over and everybody gets to see that in the game You always keep us accountable on the field and off the field you re one of the funniest people I know Tyler you are hilarious most of the time and it s so fun to play next to someone who is kind and yet could also break every bone in your body if they tried You treat me as if I am one of your friends and that means a lot as a freshman so thank you Tyler s energy is something that will always get me hype before during games and practices Tyler is a freak of nature I don t understand how he is so dominant no matter who he s up against I ll look at his matchup and think he s got no chance against a double team and he ll always find a way to make a play for us Glad he s on our team Tyler is the toughest kid on the field at any given point He demonstrates hard work and goes above and beyond The truth never fails to make either someone laugh or make a TFL when he s on the field you can feel his presence He helped me understand the school and where all the buildings were and he is a great leader and helps me be the best I can be He always gets the team motivated and locked in The Truth The Shark The Weatherman Many names but one face Tyler You are one of the hardest workers on the field People shake in their cleats when they line up against you and I feel ever more at ease knowing that you re on our side I wouldn t have any other guy be on the left side of the line You inspire the people around you to do their best and you push yourself hard at times harder than the rest of us And it shows Your dominance on the field as a player and leadership as a captain are markers of a true football player and teammate I wish you the best wherever you go What has the Bishop s Knights football program meant to you It s been fun I like the team camaraderie What has been your favorite moment of Bishop s football When we won the game vs Imperial in double overtime What will you miss the most about Knights football My friends What teacher had the biggest impact on you during your Bishop s education When I got into Dr William Peters class I was surprised that a british guy was teaching American History But he was great and made me realize I could do really well learning even more about my favorite subject Tyler your enthusiasm for the game of football is infectious It is so fun for us to watch you play football with so much love for both the game itself and your teammates That same passion will undoubtedly bring you a lifetime of success in whatever you choose to do Love Mom and Dad

Will Cluskey 14 The best kicker in the country Always cool calm and collected I still own him in the pregame Clash Royale games though Really nice and welcoming I remember throwing the weirdest passes back and forth when we got bored Will is an extraordinary role model working very hard on both the field and in the classroom Will is a great kicker and a great teammate He is always kind and he is a leader on the team To be honest when I was a freshman coming onto the football team I didn t even know Will played football Since then he has committed to play football at Princeton which I think is definitely an overall reflection of how hard of a worker he is on and off the field and on top of that the kind of person he is Will is a very friendly and welcoming guy Always makes you feel comfortable 5 star Nice person insane leg The best kicker Although he doesn t stay for practice he makes a big impact on our team whether it s kicking field goals or touchbacks to give our team a better chance to win I haven t been around Will as much as some of the other seniors but when I have he has always been nice to me and all of the people around me Also he is also always positive when he is around the team Will is a really chill guy He s like super cool I think Will is a really chill and genuine person He is fun to be around and talk about different things with Clutchkey for a reason You always have shown up to practice ready to kick and it s always nice to have someone to talk to in Jay s Cluskey you mean a lot to this team When I said I might want to be a kicker you encouraged me and gave me tips on how to improve It shows a lot about the person you are that you were willing to help out a freshman that you don t even know Thanks for everything Will s a very level headed and calm guy Since I was a freshman I ve always looked up to Will as a role model as a person and as a kicker It is so great to see him be successful and continue kicking in college Someone who can operate in the heat of the moment When the whole team relies on him we know he will do his best Will is one of the best kickers I have ever seen His work ethic day in and day out is really inspiring Will is a very nice and welcoming person he was one of the first people I met here hope he has a great time at Princeton He is quiet but very nice What has the Bishop s Knights football program meant to you The team has been my second family for all of high school Even freshman year when we didn t play much because of Covid the upperclassmen were all super welcoming and supportive of the younger guys I have spent so much time with these guys and I have grown closer with so many people just because of the team What has been your favorite moment of Bishop s football My favorite moment was beating University City sophomore year when we won on a last second field goal What will you miss the most about Knights football I will miss the pregame meals and playing slither in the film room before the coaches get there What teacher had the biggest impact on you during your Bishop s education Thank you Ms Jennifer Seymour for being such a great advisor all of high school Our advisory has grown so much closer throughout high school and you did a great job bringing us together Congratulations Will on playing four years of Bishop s football and tonight is your night to celebrate that accomplishment You have grown tremendously during these years to become a great kicker and an even better person Enjoy the remainder of your senior year and we are looking forward to watching you kick some footballs in college Love Mom and Dad

Chase Jordan 7 Chase is an absolute baller He works incredibly hard and his passion for this team and this game is unmatched He is incredibly fun to play with and just be around Just watch out when he s in Philadelphia Chase is super nice and funny I haven t known him super long but I have lots of fun memories and he is someone I look up to and he is a great leader Love Chase He is a dangerous fella Chase is one of the most physical football players that I have seen you can see just how much he loves the game by watching the effort he gives on the field He also cares a lot about his teammates and forms connections with all of us Chase is very fun to be around on and off of the field He is extremely crucial to our team and makes a ton of big plays He is an important leader and keeps us locked in during practice Chase is a great teammate and an even harder worker which is something I admire about him He always gives his all in the weight room and on the field and he is someone who I trust to have my back no matter what Chase has been a huge role model for what it means to be a leader and or teamate Includes eveyone and is super friendly Always pushes us too our best and has personally been one of the nicest people at bishops He reminds most people of a older me and my twin He knew that it would be hard for me being that I m coming from a far away public school and took me under his wing and I m forever greatful for that He is a great leader and friend A brother for life will always have his back because he has mine Chase is a great leader He is a big presence on the field and everyone looks up to him Chase is so beneficial to our team He brings energy and more hunger to win for the team I always see him putting in the extra work and lifting up the team or giving motivation For me a freshman going into a new school and never playing football before the change was hard Chase really took me under his wing and I really look up to him as a person and a player I look at Chase like an older brother Chase is a very funny guy to be around He is very competitive in basically all the things he does He is a great friend to have One of my first friends I made from football you have always been there for me on and off the field and Im so excited to see what big things you will do in the future Chase you get our team hyped when we need to be hyped but you also have a fun and relaxed side to you You help our team be what it is and I am grateful I love Chase s attitude When I m on the field with him there s never a dull moment and I m always smiling and having a good time no matter what which makes the game fun Chase has become one of the hardest workers I know He is the epitome of a good teammate and will always have your back on and off the field He is a great role model who shows what it means to be a leader He is always there to call someone out on their behavior and defines 100 effort Chase has been my linebacker partner for the past two years and I m really going to miss his motor and drive to make a play Chase is a dog no matter what he competes and he helps me all the time with learning my drops what gaps to shoot and how to read the guards Chase knows how to get the team hyped and brings a lot of intensity on the field My man Chase My first year playing Bishop s football as a freshman you coined the name Big Jack I truly felt part of a team by the end of that season and so did every other player You lift others up and encourage them to do their best You take extra reps hold others accountable and work hard in the weight room and during film to make sure that you are a dominating presence on Friday night You are one of the hardest workers out there you refuse to let us quit and you lead by example I m proud to be a member of this team What has the Bishop s Knights football program meant to you The Bishops School Football program has provided a competitive and intellectual environment for me to mature into the man I am today It has also given me the opportunity to create meaningful relationships and memories What has been your favorite moment of Bishop s football My favorite moment of Bishop s football was when we beat Imperial in double overtime my Junior year Getting up after the tackle a yard short of the touchdown has to be one of the greatest feelings I have ever felt What will you miss the most about Knights football I will miss most the hours leading up to every game and all the time spent with the team whether it be watching film practicing or doing team lifts What teacher had the biggest impact on you during your Bishop s education Dr William Peters because he always pushed me to become a high level student in all areas His dedication to the students he teaches is unparalleled and he helped me reach a level I never thought I was capable of Chase was born on November 22 and the moment we saw him we knew he was born to play football He loves the sport he loves his family and he is as loyal to his friends as anyone we know The Jordan Family is eternally grateful for the guidance and education Chase has received from The Bishop s School A young man that loves Nick Ratto 47 Ratto is an absolute beast The way he shows up going hard on every play makes him a menace to block He hasn t been there as long but when he has been he has been super nice and a good teammate I remember his first game he got a fumble recovery on special teams Despite not playing much football in his life Nick is very hardworking always going 100 in practices never taking a rep off in order to challenge the rest of us and make us better Nick is a great teammate to be around He is a cool person and is locked in during practice He s a good leader I first met Ratto when I was in 6th grade and right away I thought he was an awesome guy So when he decided to play football as a junior and then again as a senior I was very excited I am super glad to have been able to be teammates with Nick He s super nice and always makes conversation with the new guys Came ready to work Nick is always smiling no matter what is happening and its awesome Nick is always nice to me and the freshman but also has discipline He is positive when it s needed the most Nick is a super nice guy and treats the younger guys super cool Nick is a cool person that always seems relaxed I m so glad that you came back to football again this year It has been so fun to have you on the team and even though it is only your second year playing everyone on the team holds you in high regards Nick the first time I lined up against you I was thinking in my head he can t be that good and then you hit me and I almost got knocked over I guess what I m trying to say is your a dawg Nick s a great guy to talk to and will always play hard I really admire how open Nick is to trying new things Even though he hasn t played a lot of football he ll always be out there trying his best no matter what and putting in work to help the team He is confident and ready to play even after joining a little late in the season He will make conversation with anybody making them feel welcome It s been so fun playing with Ratto these past two years it s so cool how whenever the coach wants something from him he does it He is really cool I just meet him and we are already great friends my favorite part about him is that he is a cowboys fan and we talk about football all the time Sort of a quiet guy but very funny when you talk to him Ratto The speed demon I m so glad that I ve been able to match up against you on the line for the past two years You re an absolute menace and a motivator for our team You put everything out on the field and we can see it Good luck What has the Bishop s Knights football program meant to you The Bishop s Knights football program has provided me camaraderie taught me discipline and provided me many good memories that have shaped my high school experience What has been your favorite moment of Bishop s football My favorite moment of Bishop s football was our first game against La Jolla High last year when we won the Battle of Pearl Street The excitement of the team after winning hard fought games is always electric and has provided some of my favorite football memories What will you miss the most about Knights football The thing that I will miss most about Knights football is having practice with my teammates everyday after school and game days I love getting dialed during team chapel and hanging out with my teammates during team meals What teacher had the biggest impact on you during your Bishop s education From day one Mr Dana Pierce has been supportive of all I ve tried to accomplish academically Being his student and in his advisory has helped shape my experience at Bishop s for the better Thank you Mr Pierce Nick We truly can t believe that you are a senior the time has gone by so fast We love you so much and can t wait to see what your future holds We know it will be bright Love Mom and Dad

Tayshawn Taylor 4 Tay is an incredible player mentor and friend He is a true leader and cares so much about his teammates I absolutely love to be around Tay because he works so hard but is still so humble I also really hope his wife eventually notices him Tyshawn is great and I m so happy that I at least got one year with him because it feels like he is another one of my brothers and he is a great captain Love Tay always seems to make me crack up Tayshawn along with being a great football player is a fantastic leader He always looks out for every single one of his teammates to make sure that they are doing well and never has anything bad to say about anyone Tay is one of the nicest and coolest people I know He is an awesome leader and is very inclusive He always helps me at db and is a very good teammate I am very grateful to have Tayshawn as a teammate because he is someone who always pushes me to get better From working out on Friday nights together in the off season to waking up early in the summer to run I am glad to have had Tay as someone by my side to motivate me the entire time I have played football at Bishop s Tayshawn has been one of the most inviting and welcoming people I have ever met He always is super nice to everyone especially by including the younger guys and sitting with them at lunch He always makes sure to push us to be the best person and player we can be and is an amazing leader He is one of the best people I know and took me under his wing and I ll never forget that He s an amazing leader teammate and friend Always in a positive mood and always has something nice to say Even though his injury Tay is still there and present for everything with the team and is still a leader on the sidelines even if he can t be one playing on the field Tayshawn has been so happy and positive for having been hurt at the start of the season Last year I got hurt in Pop Warner and I know the feeling sucks He is putting so much effort into getting back on the field and I know he will be a game changer when he does Tayshawn was one of the first guys on the team that I met He s not stuck up or mean or anything like that he s a selfless and really cool guy He went out to lunch with some of the freshmen and it was really cool Again I look at him like an older brother Tayshawn was the first person I met at bishops and he introduced me to the campus and showed me all around He made sure the first couple of days that I was liking it and would ask me how it went He is a great friend that I have He is a great football player and a very funny person Tayshawn you really have taught me as well as the team a lot about the game on and off the field Everybody has so much respect for you and we are all rooting for that comeback season Tayshawn you probably don t remember this but a few practices after my first game you asked me How was your first game on varsity No one had said that yet except for the coaches and it meant a lot to me because it showed me how the bishops football team works Even though you didn t know me that well you cared and it will continue to mean something to me as I keep playing for this program Tay s a great guy to be around on and off the field He s a funny guy both on and off the field but he s also one of the hardest workers players I know Tay is one of the most talented football players I know The way he can effortlessly run through a defense is insane I love to watch him play He is someone who shows leadership and kindness to all teammates He looks out for everyone making sure they understand and give as much effort as he does Tay has been one of the most electric players if not the most for Bishops His will to get back on the field after his injury shows his strength of character Tay is the first senior I met when I toured the school he was basically the reason I came he made me feel like I belong here Tayshawn is a mentor and is always willing to guide the young players and lead the older guys What has the Bishop s Knights football program meant to you The Bishop s Knight Football program has meant so much to me and has brought me a sense of home and family ever since I was a freshman Even during the year online the team was still as connected as a regular team What has been your favorite moment of Bishop s football My favorite moment of Bishop s football was my Sophomore and Junior year Just hanging out with those teams after games made the best memories What will you miss the most about Knights football I will miss the Brotherhood of Bishops along with just having a community that cares so much Very thankful for every player and coach What teacher had the biggest impact on you during your Bishop s education Ms Michelle Shea No words to describe how proud we are of you We will always be your biggest fans Don t reach for the stars go put footprints on the moon Always remember God has a plan for you Jeremiah 29 11 Love Your Family
