The vitality of St. Brendan High School should be measured by the number of its community members who choose to invest their time, talent, and treasure into the school. I would like to begin by thanking the members of our Sabre family who were intentional about making St. Brendan High School a philanthropic priority this past year. We saw an increase in the number of Parent Ambassadors grow by 102% and Alumni Class Representatives by 92% from the previous year. Our community events such as Father & Daughter and Mother & Son Mass, the Memorial Mass, Homecoming weekend, the Sabre Golf Classic, and Sabre Cook-Off were all highly attended by the members of our Sabre family.expected records with an increase of 88% over the previous year. The 2023 Sabre Golf Classic sold out, once again, and raised close current families, alumni, and community partners to the continued growth and enhancement of the school. At St. Brendan High School, we are committed to building community and cultivating a culture of giving. This year we will have two community fundraising events: the Sabre Golf Classic on November 21, 2024 and the Sabre Cook-Off on year, we will celebrate 50 years of St. Brendan High School – A Legacy Written in Green and White. I am always in awe of the commitment to growth and advancement which continues to dominate the landscape here at St. Brendan High School. Highlights a true showcase of Sabre spirit. Career Day illustrated once again how alumni involvement has grown. This past year 35 alumni took part in this special day representing over 80% of all participants.I would like to extend my gratitude and praise to the class of 1982 and 1983 who were the top overall alumni classes with the most amount of money donated and number of donors this past year respectively. A reception to celebrate these two classes was well attended and proved to be a wonderful evening of laughs and nostalgia. This year, St. Brendan High School saw a record number of the Academy Advisory Council, where students are connected to alumni and other stakeholders who provide externship/internship/shadowing opportunities that provide our current students with experiential learning in a variety of workplace environments.
