Dear friend of United Way,We are pleased to share our 2023-2024 annual report with you. For the past 68 years, your local United Way has playeda significant role in our community, positively influencing the lives of hundreds of thousands of our friends, neighbors, and co-workers. And we couldn’t have done it without you. At United Way, we believe that complex problems do not have simple solutions. The complex issues that are facing ourcommunity are often interconnected. Housing instability has many root causes, substance abuse cannot be attributedto just one thing, and access to early childhood education affects families on many levels. That’s why our United Way isfocused on collaborative efforts that aim to dissolve problems, not just hold them in place. By being a supporter of United Way, not only have you given individuals and families hope for a brighter future, butyou’ve also supported systems work that goes beyond helping just one person or family and has positive effects forwhole communities.Your continued support is not just appreciated; it's essential. The challenges we face are ongoing, and we arecommitted to being catalyst for positive change. Your United Way is a convener, a collaborator, a funder, and a partner. As we move forward, we invite you to stay engaged with United Way. Your voice and passion are invaluable as we shapethe future of our community. Together, we are creating a brighter, more equitable future for all. Your belief in the powerof collaboration inspires us every day, and we look forward to achieving even greater milestones with your support. With gratitude,Kristen SwannPresident and CEOUnited Way of South Central TennesseeA Letter from LeadershipCasey Rainey2024-2025 Board ChairUnited Way of South Central Tennessee1
