For the past 68 years, your local United Way has playeda significant role in our community, positively influencing the lives of hundreds of thousands of our friends, neighbors,and co-workers. Housing instability has many root causes, substance abuse cannot be attributedto just one thing, and access to early childhood education affects families on many levels. Programs + InitiativesCatalyst is a program focused on training volunteers to serve in nonprofit leadership roles, suchas nonprofit boards, in our community. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is a financial stability initiative of theUnited Way of South Central Tennessee.
