CADE MUSEUM FOR CREATIVITY AND INVENTION ANNUAL REPORT 20233Dear Friends of the Cade, I am pleased to share our 2023 Annual Report with you to highlight our team’s accomplishments during a year lled with major transitions and exciting developments! Serving as interim CEO gave me an opportunity to step back into a role I left more than six years ago. Although our core mission was easily recognizable, I was pleased to experience rst-hand the tremendous progress achieved under Stephanie Bailes’ leadership. The Cade is no longer a startup, but an organization with almost 50 employees, carrying out dozens of signature programs to inspire and equip the next generation of inventors and entrepreneurs and visionaries! Keeping our ambitious schedule of eld trips, camps, and community events requires extreme focus – a trait that doesn’t come easy to a founder, who thrives on the chaotic energy and rapid-pace iterations of a startup. Our Cade educators not only met this challenge but took our Inventivity programming into underserved communities across the region, including those served by the Southwest Advocacy Group (SWAG), the Gainesville Housing Authority, and in Bradford County. In 2023, we served nearly four thousand students, provided over a thousand free museum memberships to low-income families, dozens of free eld trips, and camp scholarships for families in need. I am equally proud of our exhibit design team, that created three signature invention-themed exhibits, each with their corresponding Building Blocks of Invention curriculum lessons. The team also worked with Adria Petty to design “Wildowers,” our rst Tom Petty exhibit. Working with her and seeing this amazing exhibit take place, were among the highlights of the year. Who knew that inventors, musicians, and poets all share an inventivity mindset!? Other notable developments included expanding the Cade Prize for Inventivity to a national competition and rebranding our Inventivity podcast that reached listeners in 25 countries. Being a startup CEO at heart, I was most excited to work with our team to lay the foundations for a national Inventivity Movement to share the Cade’s Inventivity™ Educational Framework with rural and underserved communities across the nation. The Cade’s goal has always been about moving outside of the museum to deliver educational experiences. Our country needs individuals who are resilient, adaptable, and can navigate the unknown with condence. Your support enables us to build those character traits in our children and in our communities. Thank you for being a part of the Cade Team! Spark wonder. Invent possible, Phoebe Cade Miles Co-Founder & Interim CEO Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention

CADE MUSEUM FOR CREATIVITY AND INVENTION ANNUAL REPORT 20235Building the Future TogetherThe Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention is an experiential museum that teaches scientic concepts through the lens of invention. Most importantly though, we encourage people of all ages, and from all walks of life, to think like an inventor — and we do this in and outside of the museum. In 2023, our educators taught 110 science classes in ve Title I schools and in local community centers. We hosted eld trips, camps, and speakers on topics from parenting in the age of AI to music’s eect on the brain. We taught workshops on coding, robotics, 3D printing and more. Through our programs, exhibits, and labs, we help members in our community and beyond adopt an inventive mindset. We believe that everyone should have access to quality STEAM education, and that sits at the core of everything that we do. We hope that through this report, you will see the value in the work we do to inspire and equip future inventors, entrepreneurs, and visionaries and that there are many ways you can be a part of our mission. From becoming a member to making a one-time gift or setting up a recurring monthly donation, you can ensure that we continue to make a dierence in the lives and minds of many. CADE MUSEUM FOR CREATIVITY AND INVENTION ANNUAL REPORT 20236Thought LeadershipThe Inventivity® Framework is our proprietary educational curriculum that teaches science concepts through the lens of invention. In 2021, our education team developed and tested critical components of the framework within the museum, and it has since then evolved into a dynamic structure of pillars, blocks, and bites. The 7 Pillars of Science™ represent the foundational areas of scientic knowledge. Each pillar is supported by Building Blocks of Invention™ which delve deeper into key concepts, innovations, and the inventions that shape our world. These blocks are further broken down into Bites – concise and digestible pieces that bring science to life. We bring this framework to visitors at the museum through our Building Blocks of Invention badge program. Visitors who participate in experiences like live demonstrations, hands-on experiments, meeting living inventors, and exploring interactive exhibits can earn their very own badge as a testament to their scientic exploration!
