N B The experiment In 1972 the Soviet Union were experimenting with a microscopic multicellular organism that was found in ice dating from the early cambion period when the first multicellular organism first appeared The Organism originally seemingly looked like a species of lacrymaria but on closer inspection it was a different species of organism The scientists proceeded to add multiple liquids and chemicals to see what would happen when the specimen was exposed to a chemical that was known to be a mutagen The specimen started to grow in days and gain limbs tails and heads After 5 months the organism has grown to the size of a bear and escaped its containment which it slaughtered and fed on the scientists growing to the size of an elephant
