2019 has been another amazing year showing my once in a lifeeme talented horse A Spot of Zip It was a year of working on new elements which had its challenges We had many successes earning high point or reserve high point at shows this year My highlight was winning the Don Trout memorial award at Zone Two for the highest scoring trail horse of the show A Spot of Zip and I have had an ho amazing journey together I would like to thank Monica Webb for all her guidance transforming us into the team we are today and giving me the con dence to believe anything is possible Thank to Baker Training Stable for making dreams come true that I could not have imagined Six Years ago shortly aaer I moved back from Texas my friend Sally Saur called and told me about a horse that she thought would be great for me That horse was Summer Sensaaonal E ect She was right as Sally ooen is I feel very blessed to own and ride such a talented kind and beauuful mare This year has been very challenging Summer and I took two years o to have babies It took tremendous e ort to get us ready to show by my family and my very paaent trainer Sarah Diamond Sarah would ooen have to entertain my toddler while trying to give me a lesson My appreciaaon for the amount of understanding and compassion Sarah has shown me this year has supported me to be a Mom and an eque equestrian is immeasurable and I can t thank her enough I want to thank my husband John Koch and My Mother Cis Kennard for holding down the home front and helping with my son Kash when I was away This is de nitely a case where it took the whole village to get us there and I m grateful for your support We couldn t be more proud of Chosen and all of his 2019 accomplishments We start o with big goals and he more than delivered Though Chosen moved to Oregon when he was 6mo old over the past 2yrs he has found his place and his purpose Chosen genuinely loves his job in the show ring He s a gentle giant that loves to play chews on ev everything and would do about anything for peppermints His 2019 accomplishments include 2yr old gelding World Champion Amateur Res World Champion Currently leading the naaon in All Age Amateur Geldings and 2yr Old Open Geldings OHPC Open and Amateur High Point Gelding NWCC Open High Point Gelding We are so blessed to have this horse in our lives He was perfectly CHOSEN for us Oscar we love you 17 2020 NWCC Paint Horse Directory Barlnk All That Jazz had an amazing year Starrng her show career in July she ended up receiving 6 Grands and 9 Reserves as a Yearling Jazzy nished 5th on the APHA Honor Roll for Yearling Mares and Zone One High Point Yearling Mare I couldn t have accomplished this without Kathy Parker who did an awesome job of ng and showing Jazzy I also want to thank my late husband Don Schneider for wa all his support understanding for my love of horses and leeng me breed and raise Paints Ferdie is a special horse Two years ago I traveled by car with Laura Satern for 18 hours in negaave temperatures to Alberta Canada to try him out Never did I think the furry 3 year old would turn out to be such a cool all arounder He is a once in a lifeeme partner and is as sweet as he is talented I have to thank his breeder Brenda Ho and Soderbu Soderburg Quarter Horses for their support They knew from the beginning Ferdie was a special guy I also have to thank Laura Satern for all her hard work prepping him for so many shows this year and making our dreams come true Words cannot express how thankful and honored I am to receive this award I am grateful to be part of the Baker Team Watching Ellie under the guidance of Monica Webb in the show ring always brings me so much joy Ellie gives her all to perform each me they enter the arena The me and e ort that Monica spends year round with Ellie shines through Ellie is a very special mare and is a delight to ride and show I consider myself very lucky to have her in my life and many thanks to Monica Webb and the ennre Baker Stable Team 2020 NWCC Paint Horse Directory 18

As the 2019 show season o cially comes to an end I feel extremely grateful This young horse took everything into stride this year With a full slate of classes and having just adding the all around events I knew this year would likely be challenging But Jimmy John exceeded every expectaaon I had He has a heart of gold and so much try I m so incredibly blessed to be able to swing my leg over him A huge thank you is owed to Anthony Wilson for the countless hours he put into training Jimmy John and instruccng me this year None of this would have been possible without his dedicaaon to us WAR EAGLE I hadn t intended on keeping Tina when I rst got her as a project in the summer of 2018 Now I doubt there is much that could convince me to part with her She has turned out to being the most un appable steady eddy old soul of a horse I have had the joy of starrng Nothing phases her from dragging logs and chasing cows to packing sh canisters into the mountains Currently Tina is a cani lesson horse for the University of Oregon s western IHSA team where she is ridden by all levels of riders In 2019 she surpassed my expectaaons winning numerous classes and ending up Zone One Hi Point SPB as well as NWCC Year End Hi Point Not many know this but Tina was actually sadly orphaned at 5 weeks old A huge thank you to Maa and Erin Henderson and the amazing team at Turner Henderson Show Horses for hand raising this lly up right so I had the opportunity to own and work with such a nice mare 2 years ago this liile Bay mare and I became a team April a k a A Kiss of Charisma has come so far She is an amazing partner that works so hard for me April has all around made me a beeer rider compeetor and has presented me with amazing opportuniies I would like to thank my parents for always supporrng me and Lisa Tomanelli for leeng me lease this amazing horse My trainers Kara Whitsell Monica Webb and the ennre Baker Stable team for always being there to cheer me on I m so excited for another show mare season with this ma I want to give a hearrelt thanks to my horse Jim Seemehidenmydiamonds who truly has a heart of gold I would also like to give thanks to my horse trainer Brad Chastain my veterinarian Dr Trissn Morgan and my farrier Lachlan Willoughby This team help keep Jim happy and healthy and that allows me to connnue having a blast showing my ho horse 19 2020 NWCC Paint Horse Directory 2020 NWCC Paint Horse Directory 20
