2019 PLAYDAY POLICY Sign-ups for all events will be made available via email registration and by contacting the Golf Shop directly. Tuesday Twilight: Play will begin with a 6:00 pm Shotgun Start, playing 9 holes. Thursday 9 Hole: Play will begin with a 9:00 am Shotgun Start . Tuesday 18 Holes: The tee sheet will be blocked at 8:30 am each Tuesday morning (May-Aug) for a Shotgun Start and 9:00am (April & September) Handicaps: All WGA events will have a maximum handicap index of 38.1 from the Red Tees and 38.6 on the Family Tees. Players with a current handicap higher index will have their handicap adjusted. Pace of Play To ensure a fun experience and to ensure all players can finish in a reasonable time, we ask that you assist your group to play at a maximum pace of 2hr 15min per 9 holes. Dress Code Proper golf attire must be worn at all times on the golf course, including the practice areas, Proper golf attire consists of: (a) Slacks (b) Tailored, Bermuda or golf shorts (c) Golf skirts and/or skort (d) Golf shirts or blouses (e) If hats are worn, they must be worn forward at all times (f) Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times on the course (g) Blue jeans or T-shirts are not permitted

Scores in both match play and stroke play must be posted for handicap purposes. This includes scores made in match play, in mul‐ball, or in team compeons in which players have not completed one or more holes or in which players are requested to pick up when out of contenon on a hole. Under the Rules of Golf IF a player has played 7 to 12 holes, they shall post a 9 Hole score. IF a player has played at least 13 holes, they shall post an 18 hole score. Rule 4-1: A player who starts, but does not complete a hole or is conceded a stroke must record for handicap purposes the most likely score. The most likely score may not exceed the player's Equitable Stroke Control limit. Rule 4-2: If a player does not play a hole or plays it other than under the Rules of Golf, the score recorded for that hole for handicap purposes must be par plus any handicap strokes the player is entitled to receive on that hole.

2019 OLE BUDDY TOURNAMENT This Is A Single Elimination Tournament Sign-up Deadline: Sunday, April 28th All two-lady teams will be seeded by blind draw 2018 Winners Will Receive The 1st Round 1 Bye Should Any Be Needed 4-Ball Format using 90% of your current course handicap (not trend) Low Handicap Player will play to scratch and all other players will reduce their handicap by the same amount Players are responsible to schedule their own matches by the determined dead line for each round posted. Golf staff cannot be involved in scheduling. **If a tee time cannot be agreed upon, the winner will be determined by a coin f lip by the Golf Staff. Final! All matches must be played at Hillcrest Country Club and from red tees. HISTORIC FOUNDATION SEASON LONG PAR 3 CLOSEST TO THE PIN CONTEST The HCC Par 3 Closest to the Pin contest is a fundraising opportunity for the Hillcrest Historic Foundation. Your $300 donation must be paid in advance of your participation. You may enter the contest at any time during the golf season; however the $300 entry fee cannot be prorated and must be paid 48 hours prior to participation. Your $300 donation allows the family unit (member, spouse and children up to age 25) as well as your paid guests to participate. Guests and children are not eligible for the final shootout; however, the sponsoring member may participate on their behalf. The contest includes all Par 3’s (#4, #12 & #17). The contest will begin on Monday, April 8th and the final day will be Sunday, September 8th. To be eligible, your shot must be within the length of the flagstick. You must have a witness and you must complete a 9 or 18 hole round of golf. Men must hit from the Blue or White tees, Seniors (70+) may hit from Blue, White or Gold tees. Women and children (17 & under) may hit from the Red tees. Except for Opening Weekend, each contest will run from 8:00 am Monday thru Sunday at dark. The weekly results will be collected and winners of all three holes will be posted on the scoreboard. The winners will receive $100 cash for each win (maximum $300 per membership) and will be paid at the year end shootout ceremony. Shootout: Saturday, September 14th / Time tbd Each weekly winner, be it the member or membership spouse, will have one shot per weekly win (maximum of 3 per membership) in the year end “Shootout”. Men will hit from 100 yards and women will hit from 80 yards. 1st Place Will Pay 5% of the total pot 2nd Place Will Pay 3% of the total pot 3rd Place Will Pay 1.5 % of the total pot 4th, 5th & 6th Place $300 each A Consolation Flight will be played off prior to the main Shootout. Any Membership who was in the contest and did not have a weekly winner can register up to (2) eligible persons (1) shot each from the distances described previously. 1st Place = $600 / 2nd Place = $300.

Games Glossary The Hillcrest Scramble Each player will hit a tee shot. The team determines the best position and then all players will play a shot from this position. This procedure is followed per shot until the ball is holed out. The ball shall be placed within (1) club length of selected ball everywhere except the putting green. On the putting green the ball shall be placed as near as possible to selected position.  The Executive Scramble This is a fast and fun filled scramble. We have regular Scramble rules and then enjoy how we turn ALL par 5’s to par 3’s. You will like the speed and scores. 1 Best Ball Shamble It is similar to a Scramble but different. All players on the team hit a tee shot. The team selects the best tee shot, then all players will play their own ball from that point on the hole. The team score is the 1 Low Net score for the team. 1 Best Ball Executive Course The Golf Pro will make the teams for this quick & low scoring event.. Players will play their own ball. The team score will equal the 1 Low Net score on each hole. Did we mention that there will be NO PAR 5’s  2 Person, Total Stableford Points Net Scoring, Bogie = 1pt, Par = 2pts, Birdie = 4pts, Eagle = 8pts Your teams total will equal the combined total of points for both players. 2 Person, 1 Best Ball (Net) Team size of 2 players, each playing their own ball. The Team’s score on each hole will equal the lowest Net score of the two players on the hole. The team total score will equal the total of Net scores for all holes.

Games Glossary Chardonnay & Zinfandel Open Two teams are drawn by the Golf Professional. The number of players on each team is determined by the number of participants. The team with low net total wins. Winning team receives a glass of wine courtesy of the WGA. WOO HOO! Individual Nassau Individual stroke play. We will have winners for the Front Nine, winners for the Back Nine and Overall Winners. My Favorite Nine At the end of your round, your score will be your lowest nine individual net scores. Winner will be the player with the lowest net score for their chosen holes wins. Odds and Evens Individual Stroke play. Teams of 4 will keep their Net 1 Best Ball score on the odd number holes and net 2 Best Ball scores on the even holes. Team overall score will be the total of all 18 holes. The Stairstep Best Ball (Net) Team size of 4 players, each playing their own ball. The Team’s score will equal the following: 1 Best Score on Par 5’s 2 Best Sores on Par 4’s 3 Best Scores on Par 3’s Yep That’s Good” Speed Scramble It is the Fastest Game that we have and can be incorporated with nearly all other formats. Once you are on the green, you can then say “yep that’s good” and deem your putt to be made.
