on the banks of the Thames at Windsor. The 19
Century mansion
sits on over 35 acres of immaculately landscaped gardens rolling
gently down to the Thames. Formerly a private residence, Oakley
Court gained a certain level of notoriety in the 60’s and 70’s when
the building was used as a film set for several horror films including
Dracula, the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show and the St
Trinians comedies. Your guides John and Colleen Davis will be
on site all day to assist with anything you may need.

Day 2 – Thursday - Windsor
Leave the hotel in your own time today for a self guided tour of
Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world.
It has been the family home of British Kings and Queens for almost
1,000 years and is an official residence of Her Majesty The Queen,
whose standard flies from the Round Tower when she is in
Windsor is still very much a working royal palace. The Castle is
used regularly for ceremonial and State occasions and it is here
that The Queen often hosts State Visits from overseas monarchs
and presidents. St George’s Hall makes a spectacular setting for a
State Banquet, when a single table, stretching the length of the
hall and seating 160 people, is decorated with porcelain, and
silver-gilt from the Royal Collection. St George’s Chapel within
the Castle Precincts is the spiritual home of the Order of the
Garter, the oldest order of chivalry in the world.
Founded at Windsor by Edward III in 1348, its Knights still attend
a Service of Thanksgiving in the chapel of their patron, St George,
processing in their robes and insignia through the Castle Precincts.
Today, the Order consists of The Queen, The Prince of Wales and
24 Knight Companions. There are also Royal Knights and Foreign
or ‘stranger Knights. St George’s Chapel remains an active centre
for worship, with daily services open to all. Return to the hotel at
your leisure and dinner tonight is members choice.

Day 3 – Friday - Woodstock
Leaving Windsor, we take the A roads through Henley-on-Thames
to Blenheim Palace for Salon Privé, now justifiably regarded as
the UK's leading automotive event for premium brands. With
European debuts on the lawns of the Palace, the Concours
d'Elégance is not only the UK's best and most exciting Concours,
but it is now a world-class event with international recognition and
has a well-earned place alongside events such as Pebble Beach
and Villa d’Este.
We will be treated to a spectacular event, with lobster luncheon,
Pommery Champagne and full complimentary bar all day. Our
hotel for the next three nights is the MacDonald Bear Hotel in the
village of Woodstock and one of the finest 4-star hotels in
Oxfordshire. Set in what was once a 13th century coaching inn,
the hotel is just a few minutes drive and within easy walking
distance across the Palace Gardens.

Day 4 - Saturday - Woodstock
This morning we drive to Oxfordshire for a private tour of the
Williams F1 Heritage Collection which was created in 2014 to
manage the team's collection of historic Formula One cars.
Housing more than 40 of the team's seminal race cars, the
Williams Grand Prix Collection charts the team's 30+ years of
motor racing history. Williams has a vast treasure trove of historic
racing cars that have been hidden away from the public, gathering
dust in storage and the Heritage division is returning these cars to
their former glory and bringing them into private ownership.
After lunch at the Collection we return to tour Blenheim Palace,
the home to the 11th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and the
birthplace of Winston Churchill. The Palace was a gift from
Queen Anne and a grateful nation to John Churchill, 1st Duke of
Marlborough following his famous victory at the Battle of Blenheim
in 1704. The Palace is surrounded by over 2,000 acres of
‘Capability Brown’ landscaped parkland, the great lake, beautiful
formal gardens.

Day 5 - Sunday - Woodstock
Today we take a scenic drive through the Cotswolds, a region
scattered with small pretty towns and villages with a wealth of
interesting places to visit, including magnificent castles, ancient
churches, glorious gardens and stately homes with historic
houses. The Cotswolds is one of the most 'quintessentially
English' and unspoiled regions of England where you can’t help
but fall in love with the uniqueness of the area.
Popular with both the English themselves and international visitors
from all over the world, the area is well known for gentle hillsides
(‘wolds’), outstanding countryside with river valleys, water
meadows and beech woods, sleepy ancient limestone villages,
historic market towns and for being so ‘typically English’ where
time has stood still for over 300 years.
We spend the day exploring the countryside, browse a few shops,
soak up the history of the area and have ample time for a meal in
a traditional pub. Time this afternoon to visit the Gaydon heritage
and Jaguar Collections
Dinner tonight in the hotel is included.

Day 6 - Monday - Bath
We leave Woodstock this morning and drive across the
Cotswolds to Malvern in Worcestershire to tour the Morgan Motor
Company. Established in 1909 by H.F.S. Morgan with the design
of the Morgan three-wheeler, production of a four-wheeled model
began in 1936, and Morgan cars have since become famous the
world over for their unique blend of charisma, quality materials,
craftsmanship and performance.
The ethos at Morgan remains unchanged: all cars are coach built
and the development of the model-range has taken the marque
into the 21st Century, and today Morgan builds in excess of 1300
cars per year. The Aero 8, a major achievement for a small
Company, was launched in 2000, and continual evolution of the
Aero Range has seen the Aero 8 joined by the dramatic Aero
SuperSports and its fixed-head sibling, the Aero Coupe.
In 2011 a modern interpretation of H.F.S. Morgan’s classic
design, the Morgan 3 Wheeler was relaunched and we will see
skilled craftsmen at work as they hand make the bespoke sports
cars. A light lunch in the Morgan Factory is included and dinner
tonight is members choice. Our hotel for the next two nights is
Bailbrook House, a country house hotel located just a few
minutes from the centre of historic Bath. Originally built as a
private residence in the early 1790s, Bailbrook House is a Grade
II listed property set within 20 acres of private grounds with
commanding views towards central Bath and retains all the
glories of that era thanks to a £10 million restoration in 2013. It’s
just a short drive from the centre of Bath with its fine selection of
shops, restaurants. and places of interest.

burial site or perhaps just a huge calendar? Whatever it was

immaculate spreading lawns and walkways overlooking the
Beaulieu River. This charming house, kept in the style of its later
Victorian additions, has been in Lord Montagu's family ownership
since 1538, when Sir Thomas Wrothesley, later 1st Earl of
