Field Impact ReportOlancho Water Project - Phase 1San Francisco, Manto and Guarizama, Honduras
Project Update Project Goal
Please see project description.
In the previous update, we reported some challenges due to the lack of efficiency of the ENEE (National Power Company).
As of this update, we are delighted to inform you that the project has reached a significant milestone, as the ENEE has completed all necessary processes to approve the electrical connections for the water system.
We have coordinated the fieldwork for the system connections, which is scheduled to take place during the week of August 7th to 11th. Once these connections are in place, we will be able to initiate the water system, which will be powered by two wells, bringing a stable supply of clean water to the communities.
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering patience and the invaluable support you have provided throughout this endeavor. Your involvement has been instrumental in making this project a reality and creating a positive impact on the lives of numerous families.
As we approach the project's completion in mid-August, we eagerly look forward to sharing a comprehensive report, accompanied by photographs capturing the momentous achievement. These images will serve as a testament to the transformative power of access to clean water, which will undoubtedly enhance the overall well-being of the benefitted communities.
This journey has indeed presented its share of challenges, but knowing that this project will positively affect the lives of families who have long struggled with water access motivates us to keep pushing forward. We are deeply grateful for your partnership in making this noble vision a reality. Together, we are creating lasting change and providing hope for a better future.
