Top 5 Sports for Autumn

Hey Guys! :) As I have again started to visit Brno more regularly since the start of this semester I noticed that jogging is still popular among a lot of people. I am one of those people who go for a jog every now and then but I usually hate it as I find the activity very boring. So there are my five tips for other sports/free-time activities for autumn. Enjoy!

Number 5: Hiking

For me, spring and autumn are the best seasons for hiking or walks as it is not too hot or too cold to be outside for a long period of time. The landscape is colourful and full of life during these months so get your backpack and go wandering outside before the exams hit you like a ton of bricks!

Number 4: Squash

Squash is a great alternative for people who enjoy playing tennis in the summer but play only on outside tennis courts. Squash has been getting really popular lately and a lot of gyms or fitness centres has got their own squash courts.

Number 3: Bowling

Bowling is a great alternative for lazy days spend with friends. It is a great alternative for people who are not very keen on sports but still like some sort of competition. Bowling is usually also connected to good food and drinks!

Number 2: Cycling

I do not know about you but I hate cycling in the summer when it is too hot to even be outside. I think that these sunny autumn days are the best for cycling. Bike trips are also a great excuse why to go outside since the weather is no longer in favour of the typical summer activities as going to swimming pools, beach volleyball or climbing.

Number 1: Swimming

Swimming is considered one of the healthiest exercises as it takes the load off your joints compared to running or walking. Swimming will help you burn a lot of calories, build muscle mass and it is great for increasing lung capacity. The best thing about swimming is that it is suitable for any person of any age!
