An interesting fact about water is that it makes up 70% to 80% of your body.

When drinking water be careful and make sure you are drinking clean water because dirty water with bacteria in it can lead to an unexpected death.

water is a colorless, tasteless, odorless liquid that has no taste.

Water

One should consume about eight 8-ounce cups of water everyday.

It dissolves and carries nutrients, removes waste, regulates body temperature , and it also gives structure and form to the body.

How much you need? Well you need some fats in your diet but not too much.

Fats is a type of nutrient

Fun fact: Fat has twice as many calories as proteins or carbohydrates.

Fats

You should try to avoid Saturated fats such as butter, solid shortening, and lard.Trans fats. These are found in vegetable shortenings, some margarine s, crackers, cookies, snack foods, and other foods .

Fats give you energy and help your body absorb vitamins.

Easily digested carbohydrates that may contribute to weight gain, interfere with weight loss, and promote diabetes and heart disease.

Interesting fact: There are two different types of carbohydrates. Healthy and Unhealthy.

Carbohydrates are found in healthy and unhealthy foods. Bread, Popcorn, Beans, spaghetti, etc.

Carbohydrates

The amount you eat isn't really the problem , its the type you eat( Healthy or unhealthy) and how much you consume of that.

Unprocessed or minimally processed whole grains, vegetables, fruits etc, promote good health by delivering vitamins, minerals, fiber, etc.

Fun Fact? There are 13 vitamins your body needs.

If you don't get enough vitamin C, you could become anemic. Some vitamins may help prevent medical problems. Vitamin A prevents night blindness.

Vitamins are substances that your body needs to grow and develop normally.

Vitamins

Vitamins help your body grow and develop normally.

High doses of some vitamins can cause problems.

The amount of vitamins you need is simple, you just need to eat a balanced variety of foods.

Protein helps your body a lot. It is the fuel that motivates and really supports your body in building healthy tissues and cells.

Eating massive amounts of protein is unnatural and may cause harm.

Proteins boost your metabolism and fat burning potential.

Protein

Proteins are considered long chains of amino acids, which are the important molecules we get from our diet.

¨Your body weight, gender, age, and level of activity or exercise all determine how much protein is best for you, and your needs likely vary a bit day to day.¨

Some minerals are even used to make hormones or maintain a normal heartbeat.

Minerals help your body grow, develop, and stay healthy.

The body uses minerals to perform many different functions from building strong bones to transmitting nerve impulses.

Minerals

Too much iron can be toxic, causing symptoms like fatigue, joint pain, and depression.

Include three servings of calcium-rich foods per day including milk, low-fat cheese and yogurt.

Some minerals are even used to make hormones or maintain a normal heartbeat.
