The fish found in the Illinois river is the Pan Fish, large Mouth Bass, White Bass, Sauger,Channel Catfish, and Walleyes. Illinois has about eight locks to let ships in and out. 

Another body of water in Illinois is the lake of Egypt. The lake of Egypt is six miles south form lake Myron.It also is 52 feet deep and provides cooling water for coal.burning.
