This booklet will inform the audience about the everyday cruelty that is done to animals.
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) was the first humane society to be established in North America and is, today, one of the largest in the world. The organization was founded under the belief that animals are entitled to respect.
The ASPCA’s mission, as stated by founder Henry Bergh in 1866, is “to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.”
These are some ways that animals die or are injured. We as a nation need to stop this from happening.
There are many ways you can help stop animal cruelty. A couple ways are donate money to ASPCA monthly which will help them afford to take in more animals, Volunteer at your local animal shelter and just show the animals some love and comfort, you could also adopt a pet and give them a nice home.
