Dr.Suess

Dr.Suess is a very famous animator that has touched the heart of all of us. He has created many oringal characters such as Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and the whos. I choose him because he has a very intresting concept on animation and drawing.

The Introduction

Theodor Seuss Geisel was born on March 2, 1904 in Springfield Massachesetts. He was the child of Theodor Robert Geisel and Henrietta Seuss Geisel. His mom encouraged him to draw on his walls of what ever he wanted. Any his dad was not home, he would take his stechbook to the zoo and draw some amazing characters from them. When he grew up he went to Dartmouth colleage in New Hampshire. Then he went to Oxford Univeristy. But he was one night he was caught drinking on the campuss and was kicked out of the school. He then went by the name of Suess. He married to Helen Gesiel in 1927. He then got divored inb1967 and married Audrey Geisel in 1968. He had no children of his own but he had two stepdaughters from Audrey. Suess served in the military as Frank Capra's Singal Corps. He created training animations to help the cadets. The first comic that he published he used the Viking Press. He soon later started writing books.His first book was actualy a comic series in the Saturday Evening Post. His first hit was The Cat in the Hat. To this day this remains to be his most popular character and book. He died on Sept 24, 1991.
