The NYA was put into

place as a Relief

Program to ease family

struggles.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The NYA was put into place to help younger people between the ages of 16 to 25 to get jobs and an education, it was also a part of another program called Works Progress Administration. At the end of the program, NYA emphasized skills training in defense-related industries. Congress later stopped funding the program and abolished it.
