CRUFC NEEDS YOUR VOTE!!!
Cockermouth RUFC is applying for funding through the “Community Choices” cam-
paign to build two new sports facilities at its venue. Facility 1 will be a high quality,
multi use sports arena with four playing areas. The funding will go towards a high
performance sports surface/ markings and permanent sports walls. This will allow a
variety of sports such as football, basketball, handball, hockey, tennis and netball to
take place on the facility. Facility 2 will be an outdoor gym that will enable physical
activity for the whole community.
If the club is successful in receiving the grant for the facilities above, it will be a mas-
sive boost not only for Chance Camp, but for West Cumbria as a whole.
How Can You Help?
CRUFC is competing against a variety of different charities. The campaign that re-
ceives the most votes will receive the funding.
