Born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, California to Joanne Schieble and Abdulfattah "John" Jandali who later gave Jobs up for adoption. Steve Jobs was adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs.
His father showed him how to work on electronics and how to take apart and reconstruct electronics as well.
Once in Homestead High School, Jobs met Steve Wozniak who was attending the University of California. Jobs and Wozniak worked so well together and both had a love for electronics.
Once graduating from High School, Jobs enrolled at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Though dropped out 6 months later.

In 1974, Steve Jobs went to India to find spiritual enlightenment. He later returned and started the Apple Company with Steve Wozniak in 1976.
Jobs had always been inspired by Edwin Land; the inventor of Polaroid. He had always idealized Edwin Land and learned a lot from him.
